Easy use, eco-friendly mop!!
Update 2yr mark: Still in love! My bissell is the best mop on the planet! It still works like day one and I use it constantly throughout the week. I still get compliments on my buffed floors! I love how shiny, clean, and quick drying the floors get with this awesome mop. I’ll just put this out there, Bissell should probably start paying me for all the referrals I’ve been giving them 😂) Super easy to use! I love the durability and design of the mop! Washable pads for eco cleaning!! Easy to clean detachable pads and cleaning dispenser bottle! I highly recommend finding another product for cleaning solution as the one which came complimentary to try made our tiles sticky and I only used a small amount mixed with more than enough water dilutions as recommended. Other than that, this is a god-send for those with alot of floor traffic ( I have 3 kids). Between sports, bikes coming through the back door, dirty bottom shoes from playing outside, and toddler spills, I can finally keep my floors nice and buffered without nearly as much manpower as I was using with the swifter jet mop! Well worth the money for my household needs! I usually clean and mop the floor every other night with this, getting twice the work done in half the time! Heck, the tile floors look so much better now I look forward to mopping in my quiet time. It’s not that loud to be honest and quite small to fit nicely in the cleaning pantry without taking up much space at all. I’m so glad a took a chance and tried it out, I’ll never go back to regular mopping again! :)

JUST BUY IT!!
Ugh I can’t believe there are people who have left a negative review about this product. Is it a commercial floor polisher? No. Is it a commercial sander & sealer? No. Is it a tool that cleans your floor amazingly well and is effortless to use? Heck yes! The tool is heavy enough where it pushes down on the ground and actually gets up stubborn dirt and grime but the second you turn it on it feels as light as a feather. I could move it around with a single finger. I used to have a swiffer wet jet and it took me about 40 min to “clean” my hardwoods. 40 min later I was left with a sore back and smudges from the puppy all over the floor. I didn’t have the stamina or desire to go back and redo it. Additionally I would have to buy plastic backed disposable pads which are terrible for the environment. This tool leaves NO smudge marks and the reusable pads are thick and HIGHLY effective. It now only takes me 10 min to clean the floors and I actually enjoy it!!! Ignore the overly picky reviews and just buy the thing. It’s one of those devices where after you’ve bought it you say to yourself “damn I should have done this 5 years ago. I’m mad at how much time and energy I’ve wasted”.

So easy to use!
Best appliance I ever got. I love this Bissell Spin Wave plus because it is so easy to use and does a great job! I have been cleaning my hard surface floors with a bucket and mop for 45 years but recently, I developed so much back pain that I had to take prescription medication. In desperation, I looked for an appliance and settled on two: this one and the Bissell Cross Wave. Since the Cross Wave was completely sold out, I got this one and I'm so glad I did! It is so simple to use that even I (being challenged in this area) could figure out, with my husband's help, how to use it in a few minutes. Im ten minutes after we got it, I was mopping the floors and it did a beautiful job--better than I could ever do! I can't remember now exactly how it arrived but, believe me, it was easy to get started. It comes with 2 sets of pads that you can alternate on hard wood floors--washing one, drying it, and using the set the next time. It also comes with one set of 2 pads that are for a harder scrub --on a tile floor or some other stone surface that can withstand a rougher scrub. I am writing this review after just mopping our mud room and laundry (linoleum), our oak floors in the kitchen and nook, and two tile bathrooms. All in about 30 minutes with little effort and no back pain! I am overjoyed to have found this little beauty. It is a back saver for me. One note: it does vibrate and kind of want to pull away from you in different directions. So it does take a little bit of a learning curve to figure out how to guide it where you want it to go. But it took about 10 minutes for me to get comfortable with it. Another thing: it comes with 4 bottles of cleaning solution: 2 for hard wood floors and two for multisurface use. I have only used the one for hard wood floors--yet I did linoleum and tile with it, too. Works great, smells great and does not get me sick. (I have multiple chemical sensitivites.) Can you tell that I'm in love with this little machine?

Easy to use, does a reasonable job for a small machine
PLUSES: Light-weight. Easy to use so I don't dread the mop job. Canister holds enough fluid so you don't have to refill mid-mop. The product that comes with the machine seems good. Cord is long enough to reach a 20x20 area and doesn't get in the way while mopping. Pads change easily, Velcro on the mophead is fairly herky. Pads go through the washer and drier so clean-up is a snap. You don't need to empty a dirty cannister after mopping. Swivel design makes getting into tight spaces easy although it doesn't get the corners. Swivels nicely. You don't have to fight it. Does a reasonable job on the baseboards although you still need to do the corners by hand. Stores nicely in a small space. MINUS Pads that come with the machine are fine on tile but don't do a great job on my embossed vinyl kitchen floor. I'm searching for more heavy-duty pads that actually fit the machine. The pads are fraying at the edges after several uses and will probably need replacing sooner than later. HINTS: The floor needs to be absolutely free of debris before using. Sweep or vacuum well first. The KEEPOW replacement are too big, even though they say they fit. I think you need the Bissell. The pads need rinsing just like a mop. Have extra pads on hand b/c rinsing makes them wet and it takes longer for the floor to dry. It takes 2 to 3 sets for my 10x10 kitchen (but I'm fussy.). Don't be trigger-happy with the spray or it will take forever for the floor to dry. Go slooowww with the machine to get best results. You may need to go over the area more than once.

Works great; easy to use
I bought this Bissell Spinwave Plus floor cleaner to make it easier to clean our hardwood floors. It arrives securely packaged. Assembly involves nothing more than pushing the handle into the body of the cleaner (it can be removed, too, but the manual doesn’t explain how to do it. Bissell has a short video online, though, that shows how). Two small bottles of hardwood floor cleaner, two small bottles of general floor cleaner, and two extra mop pads are also included. The cord has good length. The spinning mop heads glide surprisingly easily over the floor and, along with the liquid floor cleaner, really clean well. The sprayer did not work on the first Spinwave I got, but a replacement sent to me by Amazon works fine. Overall, I really like this mop. It greatly simplifies the chore of cleaning our floors. One thing worth mentioning is Bissell advises using only their formulated cleaner in this mop as usage of others may void the warranty. A little of their solution goes a long way, so it’s not a major expense. Also, it is helpful to take the liquid tank out of the mop for storage to prevent leaks. The tank has a flat bottom, so it can be stood upright even with liquid in it. If you have tile and/or sealed hardwood flooring you will find this Spinwave mop makes keeping your floors clean a lot easier.

ADORE this floor cleaner with my heart
My house-hold is very active. We have 3 cats and a large dog, a 14 year old who loves to paint, color, and practice make-up, and 3 adults who love cooking and doing out-door activities. Naturally, our tile floor and our hardwood floors take a serious beating on the daily. Spills, make-up powder disasters, animal tracks, shoe/boot tracks, and random funky splotches that make you wonder what the heck happened. We are clean and organized people, just busy and active. This floor cleaner has gotten us out of so many "sticky" situations. After a messy dinner, all you have to do it fill it with hot water and your choice of cleaning solution (I add some to the floor in addition to the tank on the floor cleaner itself), turn it on, and the mess has been cleaned up with no trace in a few minutes. It cleans and buffs efficiently, it is super easy to use and maintain, the cord is long for better access to different areas, it works upside-down (for bizarre messes), works side-ways, and can be used on any hard surface (concrete, tile, wood, bamboo - you name it!!). It is light-weight, frustration free, and extremely convenient. My 14 year old sister LOVES using it. I would recommend this product to anybody that has a busy home and foremost, anybody who has animals. Nothing worse than when the dog slobbers everywhere or accidentally walks into his water bowl and sploshes it all over the place or when there is food splatter about. Or when kitty-cats track their litter onto the floor, knock something over, or worse - vomit a hair ball. Just pick up the solid pieces, add hot water and cleaning solution to the spin-mop, turn it on, run the spinning scrubbers over the mess in question for a few moments and it is gone!

Good but
So I’ve had this spin mop for almost a year and thought I’d give it an honest review. It is a good little machine for mopping your floors, while it lasts. I’m on my third machine. Luckily it’s covered under warranty. After about 2 months, the sprayer stopped working. I emailed Bissell and after a few emails they sent me a new one. The second one stopped spraying after about 2 months as well. Then, while cleaning, one of the pads stopped spinning. I took the pad off and a screw fell out. It’s the screw that holds the pad on. It was stripped. So now they are sending me another one. I like the machine better than mopping. It is a little small and does take some time to do all of the rooms. But it does do a good job. Customer service is good too. And if they tell you to take it somewhere, tell them it’s still under warranty and you don’t have time for that. They will send you a new machine. I wish it had a brush attachment to get the grout on the kitchen floor. It doesn’t work well for that. But it works very good on hardwood floors though.

GAME CHANGER-I'm finally willing to mop my house.
I HATE mopping. I have luxury vinyl plank flooring (LVP) in my whole house, so it is inevitable that I have to mop at some point. After using the traditional sponge mop and bucket method (and subsequently killing my back), I was about to give up. A friend of mine told me about these kinds of mops so, after a lot of research, I settled on this guy. GAME CHANGER. I bought this mop several months ago. The chamber is easy to fill and has not leaked on me, the scrubbing pads are washable, and it has enough weight to it that I don't have to exert any pressure on it while using it. The pads are very absorbent, so if I mop and have a fan on it pretty much dries off the floor within a minute. At one point one of the spinners wasn't working well, and after flipping it over to examine it I found that the screw comes loose sometimes. All I did was screw it back down with a screwdriver and it was good as new. The head pivots which i a big help, and once I got used to the change in direction and pull it worked out for my needs just fine. It also comes with some Bissell cleaners which is very convenient, even though I generally just use a vinegar/water mixture on my floors. I'm very happy with this as an alternative to a sore back and grumpy disposition after traditional mopping.

Great for Cleaning Floors
Update to Original Review Below: Now that I have used this a couple of times, I am absolutely pleased with how clean my old worn out hardwood floors came out. I really could not have hand scrubbed them any cleaner. Well worth the cost for me, and absolutely would purchase again. Took a couple of cleanings to get the old dirt off, but when it came off, I was estatic! Original Review Below: My hardwood floors are very old and need refinishing/replacing. Hence they are difficult to clean compared to new flooring. This machine is ok provided you keep perspective on the price range and what it is for. It's a tad heavy (for me) but once you turn the unit on, the machine almost propels itself. So reasonably easy to use unless you are disabled. The pads do a surprisingly good job of sopping up dirt and cleaner. It does not take long for the floors to dry after use. This machine will do a light cleaning and get on stuck on food if you soften it with cleaner first. The replacement pads are surprisingly costly, even the generic pads This machine is not a heavy-duty industrial machine that scrubs the floor. If you have serious dirt to scrub, then stick to the old-fashioned way of scrubbing on hands and knees or renting a heavy-duty machine. If your floors are in relatively good shape, this machine might be useful for your needs.

I have never been happier with a purchae
We have dark hardwood floors that can be a bit labor intensive to keep looking good, probably close to 1100 square feet in total, in the main living area. We have no pets, kids are grown and gone, and the floor doesn’t really get too dirty….but is was starting to look very faded and lacklustre, i have tried several products over the years, some taking more work to use than others. But today I used this Bissell machine for the first time, with their hardwood floor Clean and Restore sample that was included, i am blown away on how shiny and invigorated the floor looks, in any kind of light, and at any angle you look at it. The machine snapped together with no effort at all. Instructions are short and concise. Using the machine is simple. Some reviews complain about the weight, but as far as I’m concerned you need this weight over the pads to get results. Without enough weight, you’d have to press down on the machine for the buffing pads to work. Our floor was a huge investment that was losing its appeal over time, and this quite inexpensive machine seems to be easily and effectively bringing it back to life. I am delighted with this purchase, and only wish I had bought it years earlier.

An excellent purchase!
I carefully reviewed different floor cleaners/polishers. We just purchased a home that has extensive hardwood & ceramic tile. The mop and pail just did not cut it, so I decided to give the Bissell Spinwave Plus a try. I am simply thrilled. The unit arrived in one day. It was extremely easy to assemble & very user friendly. I reviewed the instructions & within minutes I was ready to go. The machine is extremely easy to maneuver & light weight. There is a large water/cleaner reservoir, sufficient to clean the entire house. I debated going with a cordless model, but I am glad I decided to go with a power cord. The machine is powerful & it made 20-year-old floor look like new again. I tried the Bissell Floor Cleaner. I have not tried the buffer feature yet, but based on results I am sure the results will exceed my expectations. Purchase with confidence! AAA+++

Pleasantly surprised
I am loving this product, however, when I first tried it out I contemplated returning it. I do no like the floor cleaner that it came with. The first time I used this it left circular motions on my laminate floors. I used it with the heavy duty pads. Thinking this may be the problem, I switched to the lighter pads and it still left marks. I had purchased Bano floor cleaner in Costco and decided to give it a try. I put in fresh pads and used the spray bottle and lightly sprayed the floor with Bano and the floors came up beautifully without any circular motions. I then filled up the reservoir on the unit with the Bano floor cleaner and will use this from now on. I also used this in my basement on the old linoleum, using the Bano cleaner. The floors were clean but dull and lifeless. I did a little research and ended purchasing a product called Quick Shine for multi-surfaces. I used a fresh set of pads on my machine and squirted the Quick Shine onto the lino. My lino looked brand new! A week later they were still beautiful and shiny so I thought I would try the Quick Shine on my laminate floors. I steam mopped the laminate to remove any residue and then I chose an inconspicuous spot; put fresh pads on my machine and squirted the Quick Shine onto the floor and then went over it with the floor spinner. The same spot turned out beautiful and I have now done the whole main level of house with this and my 20 year old floors look brand new! I also did this on the tile in my entryway. They are holding up beautifully. I wear bare feet and sock feet and there are no foot marks on the floor. Once I am done with the Quick Shine, I remove the pads and soak them and wash them. I am very happy with this product. I will be purchasing more floor pads.
