Bought this to replace the battery for my t480, and it went from getting only 2 hrs of use, to over 10hrs when using it for web browsing and youtube. Probably will end up buying another because it's faster to switch to your secondary than to recharge

Battery works great still holds a charge

Terrible battery. I calibrated it properly. I've done this many times. Simply will not hold charge. It's worse than the 7 year old battery it replaced.

Bought 2 of these for a couple of older laptops whose batteries were completely dead. They work great and seem to hold a charge fairly well. One will only charge to 88%. But it's no big deal. I tend to not leave them off the AC adapter for very long anyway. But for the price that was paid, still not a bad deal.

I have purchased two of these TREE.NB 63Wh RJ40G batteries in two different Dell Latitude 5520 laptops with aged batteries in them. While I cannot comment on the longevity of the batteries, I can say that the packaging for shipping was excellent and the included tools were an added bonus. Considering that Dell wants $137 for this battery, I felt that paying $40 on Amazon was worth trying. As for ease of installation, your experience may vary depending on your skill level and the laptop you are working with. For the 5520 it's about a 10 minute process if you know what you are doing. I wanted to confirm the capacity of the battery which I was able to do using CPUID's HWMonitor. There's a section showing the designed capacity vs the current capacity as well as wear level. From the included screen shot you can see that I have the full 63Wh capacity. I was pleased enough after the first battery to purchase a second and not only replace an aged 48Wh battery, but also upgrade it to 63Wh. One word of note, in the Latitude 5520 the 48Wh battery requires two screws and the 63Wh requires three. You may need to acquire and additional screw to mount the larger battery.

I have several Dell 7290 (8th-gen) laptops, and wanted to upgrade 3 of them to the larger capacity 60Wh type. It turns out that most off-brand (and mostly, but not always cheaper!) batteries that claim to be compatible with this laptop ARE NOT!! Dell laptops verify compatibility with a chip/code residing on the battery, and if it fails validation it will throttle CPU performance. In my case, two other non-OEM batteries I tried throttled CPU performance by 90%(!).BUT THIS ONE (recommended by MSFT Copilot AI) works, and delivers full performance, even when the laptop is set up to run at 100% CPU speed on battery ("aggressive" performance settings).So this is important, that anyone with this type of Dell laptop (maybe others?) will want to be aware of this. Note that this battery still only costs about 25% of the price of the original OEM battery from Dell, or at other parts places that sell original OEM batteries!
