Great laser for my Halloween party. This was my first try with the laser and fog and wished I had at least one more for a stronger effect.

Nice bright sharp green laser!
Nice bright sharp green laser. I use it to help center my car pulling into the garage. I do wish the mounting bracket could lock down the laser tighter. I have the power coming from the garage door opener light so it is only on when the opener light is on.

Not usable for measurement or alignment tasks at any sort of distance
While it is very bright, it's almost useless for any level of precision beyond a few feet (about 1 meter) away. Don't know what I was expecting but... Even though you can focus the beam down to about 1 mm of line width (at certain angles of deflection) at a distance of like 12 inches (0.38 meter) once you get past about 3 feet (1 meter) the line width is just too wide. About 8 feet (2.5 meters) the line is incredibly fuzzy and the defined part of the line width is about 4-5mm with all sorts of artifacts. So you can't use this for any sort of measuring tasks.

Bright! Usable for garage alignment laser, can see even in daylight. Stays aligned after tightening down.

Great but will only work for 10-15 min!
I really wanted to love them bc of what we can do with them but after only 1 use for about 15 Mins it stopped working! And of course I bought them early as we were Preparing for halloween and now they don't work and I missed my return/ exchange window!
