301 Live Ladybugs (Hippodamia Convergens) - Beneficial Insects

These wonderful lady bugs were all doing excellent. Put a few holes in the mesh bag and boy did they get out, all over me….hehehe. I am sorry I didn’t get a picture because I happened to be outside when they were delivered so I let them out right away with the heat. Thank you for making my first purchase enjoyable. Will be ordering again.

Could not be happier! I purchased the 1,500 package of lady bugs. I was able to set them free on 3 medium sized lemon trees as they had Asian psylids on them. I want to say roughly 98% of them were alive and that is considering that the package arrival was delayed by a day. I do believe the 24$ was accurate for the amount of viable lady bugs. I will keep monitoring for effectiveness. The instructions on the lady bug baggie was straight forward and easy to follow. Overall, I would recommend to any gardener trying to naturally keep the pests at bay.

What a delightful purchase! I ordered 1500 and they showed up lively, ready to work and HUNGRY!! I wish I would have taken pictures when I released them, but I was too busy watching them go ham on my aphid issue. There were only 6 ladies that sadly didn’t make the trip, but I feel 99.6% survival is pretty amazing. Shout out to USPS too. My shipment showed up on a 95 degree week, which was too hot for them on the delivery truck. The box was marked ‘live bugs’ so they kept them nice and cool at the post office for me to pick up.

I buy ladybugs every single year because I have quite a few rose bushes and I don’t love using pesticides on the aphids. These ladybugs were delivered in a timely manner and were brought in quickly and stored in the recommended manner until they could be released. The four star review is because no matter what you’re always going to have dead ladybugs but I did notice more this year than in prior years. Now, I can’t definitely attribute that to the supplier or the shipper so I’m going to give the supplier the benefit of the doubt and assume the bugs were stressed in shipping. I would have preferred more arrived alive, but the ones that did make it seemed healthy, granted I’m not a bug scientist, just a gardener, but my aphid problem was gone within a few days. All in all I will probably use a different seller in the future, one that I’ve used before with better results, but as I stated before my issue could be due to the shipper so I don’t want to bad mouth this seller.

I am not exactly sure what i was expecting on this order, but if you think it's live bugs.... out of 1500, there were maybe 100 live. The rest were dead from the start. "May appear inactive" is code for dead! Don't waste your money. They do not deliver properly nor are you informed there is a delivery since they put it through ups mail. Luckily they hadn't been in the mailbox long. We followed the instructions provided and still nothing. Putting em out at dark, smart. Can't see how many dead ones fall out. They are not worth the price. They do not help any plant. I couldn't tell you if we even got the full amount we paid for.

I admit I was really impressed that there were almost no dead ones.

As far as I can tell, there were 3000 live ladybugs in the package.
