Finally got to use a few ribs on the wheel today. I really like the ease to which the design comes to life. No criticism of my throwing pleas, I’m a beginner and everyone starts somewhere The high quality wood keeps its shape. Great value for the price. So many designs

These work surprisingly well. I found that if I let them get too wet, they warp a little but are still very functional and go back to normal when dried fully. Now I am careful to not leave them in my throwing water and I wax them once a month.

These ribs are surprisingly a great quality, as I wasn’t sure what to expect for the price. I haven’t used them yet because my wheel doesn’t arrive for two more days, but they feel great in my hand. I can’t wait to use them!

First of all, the price on these was great as one pottery rib alone can cost the same price. I've been having fun trying out all the different shapes these can create. They definitely take some practice if you're new to using ribs, but that's half the fun. They are a nice quality wood, and wipe clean easily!

These are ok. When I unwrapped them I found that the sharper edges were slightly bent and splentered a little, there were also some manufacturing snags and catches where a different piece of machinery was switched out and used at the sharp corners. It took a little bit of repair work (just used some sandpaper) and fixed it right up. I don’t think they’re worth the price for the quality necessarily. Also, it’s possible that I just got a lemon. They’re the right shapes I need for foot and rib work and am ultimately happy with them simply because I didn’t want to make my own lol

Update: I haven't used these very much and they already so warped that they are unusable. So disappointed. These work well and as each side is different, you have various options to choose from.

Fantastic ribs. They come in a nicely presented box, and inside there are 3 boxes which contain 2 ribs each. Well packed and great little ribs. If you follow the care instructions, they will last a long time.

My favourite one warped after a couple of months. Shame as they make some nice forms.

They looked and felt good but warped after a couple of usages only…
