FLYCAST - Fly Tying Vice kit & 144 Spools of Thread.

I bought this for my daughter (23) as a starter kit for fly tying. It didnt dissapoint. Firstly it came a day after I ordered it which was good going as it was a few days before christmas. so thanks for that. Each item came individually wrapped. The weight and quality of each item was excellent and when it was all put together it made a fantastic gift. She has been now making me flies that are excellent and she says the kit is perfect. If you want to start fly tying, this is the kit to buy !

Really nice complete kit. Box of fly tying reels of cotton etc is so nice I can’t bring myself to use any and spoil the look. The vice is good and is easy to assemble I would have given the kit 5 stars apart from the vice paint on the jaws is flaking with extremely careful use. The rotating knurled end only allows rotating in one direction or will come loose but that’s a minor issue and if irritates too much I’ll drill and put a grub screw to lock so rotation can be either way. Only really faults but might just be a one off on mine but still better than most and the price.

Was not sure about purchasing in the in the first place, but ordered anyway. Arrived promptly, well packaged and very much as described. Looks a well made vice, enough tools, and threads, for this beginner. I’m sure l will be up to fly tying speed in no time at all. Very happy with the purchase, no hesitation in recommending this at all. Ps - nice little note from the business owner 🤗

I bouth this item for my husband as a Christmas present as he loves fly fishing and wanted to start making his own flies. The product is just like the pictures, it arrived within the time and it was all good to start with. I sent a couple of questions as this was our first interaction with fly fishing making and didn't know whether there was an issue with some of the threads or if that was the way they were supposed to be. They get back to us really quickly and suggested it could also be one of the tools from the package so offered to replace it. When we opened the box with the replacement item, they sent other bits that we were not expecting. Therefore, I have to say that they went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the result, I cannot recommend them enough. Small family business who do care for their customers. I offered this kit as a goft to my 10 years old boy who is a huge fan of fishing and making his own flies but sadly when he opened the box with thread the hinges does not open fully and are only forced into the wood... I will buy new hinges in some Tool shop and fix it myself... The rest of the kit is great but that last one could be of better quality.

This fly tying kit is brilliant, its vice is made of good quality materials and it has a heavy weight. It is definitely worth the money and I recommend it.
