VIVOSUN Digital Hygrometer Thermometer, Humidity Meter with Probe, App

So I bought this little unit to monitor the VPD in my grow tent and trust me it works as advertised. Now the details: I have attempted to 2 other grows in the past but never had the results I wanted. So, this time i decided to see if AI could help. And it has bigtime, but through my reading I kept seeing the three letters VPD. So, what is it? It stands for Vapor Pressure deficit. It refers to the amount of water in the form of vapor in the air and is displayed as kPa. The ideal VPD changes as your plants mature. Whereas a seedling requires a VPD of 0.6 kPa and an adult ideal VPD is about 1.5 kPa. Bottom line. A few minutes after I had this set up, I found I was too low for the growth stage of my plants. And now (a few hours later) after a couple tweaks of my humidifier and my exhaust I am right at 0.8 kPa which is exactly where I need to be. Oh, and by the way there is an app so I can see this info on my phone. It is however only Bluetooth but does track all the details of the grow. Is it perfect? Well, no, what app is? But it is very useful and connects with other Vivosun Smart Grow System products. So much so that I may just shift from my current product line. And to get it for less than $20 Game Changer!

I was skeptical of Vivosun anything because everything I tried in the past was less than average quality and stick with AC Infinity but couldn't find a reliable temperature and humidity sensor that also comes with a probe that also reads temp and humidity. Unfortunately, most devices with a probe their probe only reads temperature, not humidity even though the unit itself reads both but not the probe. Thankfully, this Vivosun AeroLab TH1S is accurate right out of the box in both temperature and humidity (compared with 10+ thermometer/hydrometers in grow room & curing bags) but in case you need to calibrate it, you can certainly do that through the app which has a ton of other great features including Bluetooth connection and optional Wi-Fi connection via a small USB stick (cheaper option) or a controller 🎮 to monitor with other Vivosun products. ⚠️ NOTE ⚠️ The temperature and humidity stabilizes a bit slower than I'd like but faster than others. It's not terribly long because it gives a very close reading and then over the next 10-15 minutes it stabilizes and the readings change a couple degrees and a few RH percent

This is Great Product, it works extremely well I have no complaints, I HIGHLY recommend it.I am using it already and I have no complaints

it works fine on Bluetooth if you’re in a close distance, it does not work like Wi-Fi does so to make it work like Wi-Fi. You need the grill hub and the grill hub also covers temperature and humidity so with the purchase of the girl hub this item is really not needed as I need to be able to control all my items by Wi-Fi from anywhere

Incubators are notoriously off when it comes to temperature/humidity readings which makes ALL the difference on a successful vs failure hatch. I just wanted something simple with a probe and having used Vivosun for gardening supplies in the past decided to go with the brand again and was not disappointed! First thing I wanted to do is make sure the Vivosun was accurate, placed it next to a couple other temperature/humidity monitors I have in the house and it was pretty spot on. Then I placed the probe into my incubator and just as I knew was gonna happen, both temperature and humidity were off. Upped my incubator temperature and adjusted humidity as needed and had a wildly successful hatch at 94% hatch rate (17 out of 18 eggs)! Will absolutely keep using it for all my hatches and I’m happy to have something that’s dependable and easy to use.

Review is for the AeroLab THB1S Bluetooth Hygrometer Thermometer with the External Sensor Probe Included. The remote probe started failing almost out of the box. It started with intermittent readings, then complete garbage and the stopped all together. Prove less less than a week. At one point is showed a temp change from 92 F to -10.7 F in about two minutes. Tried the Vivosun tech support. They were still closed almost 25 minutes after supposedly being open. The phone message says there is a tech support chat, but there is NOT. Waited on hold for a few minutes and asked for a call back. Crickets since. I thought I would try and get the issue resolved, but its just easier for me to return it and get a new one. Thanks Vivosun for not only making a broken product but then doubling down by making it EXTREMELY difficult to get any type of support. On a side note, the main unit seems to work flawlessly so far and the BT range is impressive.

Works 100% temperature is on point but must use the probe to get a accurate reading, Bluetooth connects well but use the vivosun app for better control and easy to read, worth the money, easy to use and comes with battery’s. Functions very well

In theory, this is good, albeit it is limited by Bluetooth only. Even though it states decent range, I had issues about 75 feet away. For me, the internal sensor would state humidity in my greenhouse of 62%RH and temp of 68 degrees. External probe would show 48%rh and temp of 66 degrees. The H19 probe inches away would show 62%rh and 68 degree temp. I reset the sensor, hoped for better results, but I never achieved them. Honestly, I went with the E42 controller, it has Wi-Fi, and can do much more. If your application is small, the THB15 is a great option at a good price point. Looking to broaden your application, you might as well go for a controller that will give you more options down the road

I like this thing. I've got it hanging right in the middle of my grow tent and I can easily read the display from the tent flap. It integrates with my Vivosun app and augments my Vivosun E42A+ Controller(s).
