These are a test replacement for my brass couplers that are having a tendency to leak (seals) and bind connecting and disconnecting in less than a season’s use.So far the product is great. Easily installed, no leakage, quick connect/disconnect.IMHO, much better than the brass couplers.

Okay, to be honest, I never really understood how quick connects work or what the big draw was. I had once received a single plastic one with the purchase of a power washer, and I wasn't impressed. And because it was only a single connector, it was always a hassle to screw it off of the hose whenever I wanted to connect the hose to something other than the power washer. This was in the days before you could Google whatever you needed to know, and this cheapo, plastic quick connect was a giant "pass" for me. Recently though, after browsing Amazon, I decided to revisit the idea of quick connectors, and I quickly began to see the appeal. I realized that what I needed was a set of multiple, metal not plastic, quick connects that would work in unison as a system. I had no idea which brand to buy, but I chose these McKillans based on the fact that they are stainless steel and were very highly rated. WOW! These are precision, high quality quick connectors! I now have these quick connects on multiple spigots, hoses, and accessories, where they all work in concert to make life easier. Connecting and disconnecting components is now literally a snap, and happens in the blink of an eye. And because there's no constant screwing and unscrewing, they definitely reduce the wear and tear on my hose ends. They have securely fit on everything I've tried to attach these to, including an old spigot with less than 3 threads. These are very high quality connectors. I've had them for several months now, and every time I use them, I'm impressed all over again. They remain pristine and shiny, the collars slide like a dream, and I've never had even a drip of water from any of them. They are beautifully boxed, with extra washers, and would make a great gift. I'll definitely be buying more. These are a great gift to purchase for yourself as well. They are a treat to use, and are definitely worth more in convenience than the price I paid for them. A huge upgrade! The quality is amazing! I highly recommend these. LOVE!!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very high quality quick connects. I waited a few months to reviews. They are excellent and worth the money. The still work smoothly and best of all they include an extra set of their special gaskets in the box. Ironically, I had another set that used special gaskets but could not get replacements which led me to buy these. Now I am glad as they are superior. It would be nice if they offered the replacement gaskets on their site but when I asked, they said to simply contact them and they would help me out.

These fit and function perfectly. Nice heavy weight parts that feel very durable. Haven't noticed any leaking. Honestly a bit expensive and if I had known they sell cheaper ones at Harbor Freight I would have just gotten them from there, but nonetheless very happy with them.

Great fittings I had to cut the old brass one off hose these are well made great connectors little pricey but you get what you pay for. No leaks but I taped threads just in case.great rubber washers come with them.

Very high quality quick connects, a little pricey, but worth it.
