GTHS81PRO 8" Amplified Subwoofer 320-Watts Active Flat Compact Design

Good bass for such a small box. We put this in a 09 Honda Fit. It didn't fit as well as we would have like under the passenger seat, so we put in under the rear seat in the middle. The subwoofer connections were the easy part, the hard part was getting the audio and power to the box. We used high level signals from the rear speakers and because the stock stereo had no "remote" wire to turn on the sub, it was great to find that the sub has audio signal sensing which turn it on/off as soon and the high level signal is sensed from the speakers. Unless you already have it, I would suggest you buy an install kit with at least 8 AWG "primary" wire (as suggested in the manual) and a minimum 40 Amp fuse mounted at the power source. Kits online are far cheaper than what I found around the Portland, OR area stereo shops. Overall, you won't be cracking windows with the bass from this unit, but it sure evens out the audio in the car as the stock 6.5" Honda Fit speakers provide little if any audible bass response.

Small, good quality

Plenty of thump. Was worried the 8" was not going to be enough. It's plenty. Just barely fits under the seat. Only negative is despite adjusting, it only covers the low, lows. There's a bit of a gap in the mid-range but that's a small complaint. Excellent purchase. Impressed with how strong it is.

Nice clean bass, not overpowering, not a noise complaint, pretty much perfect.

Very good unit

Delivered with no set screws for the power, ground and remote. The mounting hardware screws didn't fit either clearly appears to be either a "refurbished" unit or a "open box" one. I ordered neither. Should at least have items needed.

For me, this was not what I was expecting. I installed in my Jeep Wrangler and it did not perform well. It might do better in a small car with some carpet insulating the floor but not against a metal floor.

Had a good clean punchy bass. I'm impressed with the sound quality. It's in a single cab ranger behind the seat facing forward right behind the arm rest and fills the cab with a nice sound. I'm using a JBL deck and 4 JBL speakers ran off the deck only. Adding this blaupunkt powered sub fills in the rest perfect. You won't win any competitions but you will have good sound quality and it does thump pretty decent but I haven't been working it to hard till it breaks in a lil more.
