Thank you for considering getting my book :) I've always been a storyteller! Scribbling on little pieces of paper, some of which you might find in the pockets of my old jeans, or neatly organized notes on my phone or in a notebook – these entries were the raw material of my storytelling. Mostly, these stories were about boys I dated – adventures, relationships, epiphanies, questions, heartbreaks. This book, 'All He Left Me Was a Recipe,' is essentially a collection of pages out of this very personal diary, dedicated to the men in my life. The men who played various roles – best friends, lovers, teachers, fathers, children, and boyfriends. The men I've laughed, cried, shared food, had adventures, and traveled the world with. Each chapter unfolds a different guy, another adventure, a distinct ending, and a unique recipe. Now, let me share how I began putting pen to paper for this book. It all started as a reflection on my own experiences, particularly in dealing with breakups. I've had my fair share – more than 22, to be precise, which happens to be the number of chapters in this book. I observed that while we often celebrate the beginnings and unconsciously navigate through the middles, we tend to procrastinate and shy away from acknowledging the endings. Endings are often looked at as the worst periods in our lives, but through my journey, I've come to see them as powerful teachers. Life's greatest lessons and recipes, I believe, come from these concluding chapters. So, 'All He Left Me Was a Recipe' is essentially about my journey – a girl making her way through the world into womanhood, one recipe at a time. It's not a conventional love story about finding a soulmate; it's about the endings and the valuable lessons they bring. Good one. Love the way she writes

As someone who has has difficulting tumultuous relationships in the past with the added stigma around dating growing up in an Indian household, this book speaks volumes. I loved every bit of it but had to take some time to digest each story one at a time. It's honest and vulnerable and the best part about it is that it's self -reflective and doesn't demean any of the romantic partners with whom things went wary. Really a good read. Would highly recommend.

Read this to lower your IQ by several points. The book is all about a girl who is supposedly learning lessons with each relationship except she never actually learns any lessons. Very boring, useless and stupid book. Would not recommend to even a light reader.
