I wish it was made differently, the material that it is made with it looks cheap. The price is not worthy.

Bought this for my office; I love it. It's extra-cool because it's "non-traditional" with the pose of the eagle atop the globe and anchor. It's a very nice look on the bookshelf.

I found this for a co-worker that was retiring after 36 years supporting the Marine Corps. Item arrived real quickly and was nicely made. I did not realize that it had a antique look form viewing the video. I was able to correct this by spray painting it with a high gloss silver. Turned out looking great and co-worker loved it. I served in the Marine Corps and now also support them. I am going to purchase another one of these statues for myself. Highly recommend for any Marine or anyone who supports the Marine Corps. The company that makes this is amazing, however this statue failed badly, Just like a lot of the other comments, mine also came broken, ordered it for a Father's Day gift, and it looked great in the picture, come to find out the beautiful symbol of what it represents was made of cheap PLASTIC!! I was so hurt and stunned, being a USMC Vet myself and for my Father in Laws gift for he's brave service in Vietnam, come on MVP you guys are better than this..I was going to order a few of these. But buyer BEWARE , read the comments, I'm still upset about it ..This company makes a beautiful USMC Knife though, buy that, I've got 4 of them..Sorry MVP you missed the target on the statue..

When it arrived I opened it with great expectations but the item came out broken. The knot at the end of the anchor was laying in the bottom of the box. I tried to glue it back on but what ever the material is even crazy glue would not stick to it. I’m a very proud formal Marine and do not usually buy this kind of stuff for myself so disappointed when I saw it. Because I tried to glue it back on I do not believe it is returnable. Bummer
