Epaderm Cream, 500g (Pack of 2)

The best thing for my dermatitis. Slather it on after a shower and it makes such a difference to my dry, sore skin. Pump pack is so handy, too. I also use it on my kids when their skin look dry. Highly recommend.

I use this cream as a face cream because even though I have very oily skin, my face also gets dry and wrinkled for some reasons. This is the only cream that helps ! Even helped with my eczema! Worth every penny!

I was recommended this product years ago by a doctor to wash myself with as a substitute to shower gel or soap to avoid skin irritation. I did that for a few years but now I only use this while I'm in the shower after washing with soap, and then rinse it off straight away. It helps a lot with dry skin and putting it on while the skin is wet helps it to soak in. I don't really like the feeling of putting on body lotion and feeling sticky and greasy afterwards and this avoids that but your skin still feels moisturised.

In our family we have a combination of psoriasis, eczema, unexplained hives and generally dry skin, so we use a lot of emollients. I first came across Epaderm a few years back, when looking for a cream to wash my daughter's eczema-prone skin, and was immediately impressed. In fact, with a combination of Epaderm and non-bio washing powder we managed to control the eczema to such a great extent that she has not needed more than minimal treatment with hydrocortisones since. I have psoriasis, including on my face, and again a combination of Epaderm, vitamin e creams and castor oil (random, but true!) for both washing and moisturising had similar effects, I have probably reduced my use of corticosteroids by around two-thirds. In due course we started to use Epaderm for all body washing and moisturising and it was amazing - but it was expensive. So for the last year or so I've tried various other emollients that are cheaper. For a few months that seemed to work fine, but ultimately the dry skin problems returned and I had to buy additional moisturisers to use after washing with the (cheaper) emollients, which defeated the object. So I have returned to Epaderm and once again, finding it brilliant. To summarise, it's great. My experience is that eczema, psoriasis and general dry skin are better off washed and moisturised with Epaderm; as an aside, it's also great for clearing and preventing irritation in skin folds (ladies blessed with larger than average boobs will appreciate this!) and is good under make-up: it makes a great tinted moisturiser when mixed with foundation. They even seem to have upgraded the packaging recenlty so it's easier to dispense than it used to be. Having tried pretty much all of the competition, this is by far my favourite, but boy do the costs add up, and that's why I'm removing one star. That said, the results and ease of use mean that I've decided to bite that particular bullet and stick with it.

It’s so much cheaper than high street shops!!!! So I go through about a small pot of this in about 2 weeks so it’s gets exspensive until I was recommended to look here the price difference!!!!! Well worth the money The product itself is brilliant I have tried so many skin products and this is the ONE the one that actually soothes the one that protects the one that actually does its job!! For us it’s good for skin sensitivity no irritation lovely easy to use bottle with pump which the pump pressure being easy to use it can be a little greasy but it works

Fantastic product. I have had so many reactions in intimate areas, using many different products to resolve the issue. This is the only product I have found that has alleviated sensitivity. Will continue to use.

WOOO! This stuff is amazing. My son and daughter get eczema in the winter months & this cleared it within 2 days. Ny son is only 8 months and his eczema started to spread, I bought a little cream for babies from a company I seen on Facebook although it worked it was a small 50g bottle at £15 😳 when it was delivered it was half full and was gone in 7 days I needed to find something that worked for him that was costing that amount. So I got a small tube of this Epaderm it calmed his skin in a day so reordered the 500g pump as much cheaper. Since I’ve given birth the skin on my hand have been awful with eczema and they are very very dry cracking, bleeding sore painful and very itchy for the last 8 months ive been back and to the doctors about 8 different steroid creams, double base creams etc and NOTHING has helped or worked, I’ve spent over £100 on different cream for my hands, working hands cream, I’ve tired beef tallow, raw coconut oil, and loads more with no kind of result, yet this stuff has worked magic it’s only been 4 days and my hands haven’t cracked and they are so much better it may take longer to work for me but I have high hopes

I’ve tried pretty much everything for my baby’s eczema/atopic skin. From cheaper products to expensive ones like Japanese baby milk lotions that cost almost $50 for a tiny 50ml tube, even New Zealand Manuka ointments… honestly feels like we’ve tried everything. Our dermatologist in Australia and the children’s hospital recommended Dermeze, and it worked well, but I found it pretty sticky and it took a while to absorb. Then I found Epaderm. It’s thick and rich. I’d compare it to Bioderma Atoderm Baume — Bioderma probably absorbs a bit faster, but Epaderm seems to work better for my baby’s skin. It’s also around half the price, which makes it easier to use generously without feeling like I’m burning through an expensive product. Another thing I really like is the packaging. The pump seems to push the bottom up as you use it, so there’s less product left stuck at the bottom. I don’t know exactly how much is left at the end, but it feels like there’s less waste compared to regular containers. So far this has been one of the better creams we’ve tried, especially for the price. I like using it alternatively with bioderma baume as it is also quite moisturising and gentle. This cream soothes and protects all skin types. It was recommended by a family physician. We use it for our grandchildren and ourselves. I no longer use expensive cosmetic moisturizers on my face, as this cream is far superior. Great for a body lotion, to remove makeup, to relieve dry skin. Highly recommended.
