Excellent Oil pan for your VW Jetta. Excellent quality and fits 100%. Same likea the original one, but for much, much less money.When installing, don't use both, the gasket and the silicone sealant! You can use eatheir one. I recommend use only provided silicone sealant.

Was exactly the perfect fit and right part and the price was excellent

Fit Perfectly on 2001 VW Beetle w/ 2.0L
Worked perfectly and was easy to install. Total job took about 3 hours. Don’t use the paper gasket. Instead, just make a bead on the inside portion around the trim.

Fits great without gasket
Part identical to OEM. However, it doesn't not fit 100% with gasket provided. It misaligned one bolt hole that connects it to transmission. Other than that I got everything else fit perfect and would fit 100% without gasket. Would recommend just using the silicone gasket maker.

Cant beat the value
Great value for the money. Installation was a breeze with the right tooling. The gasket was redundant as the gasket maker is more than enough. Havent leaked a drop since. The oil pan is lighter than oem so that might be a concern the next time i drive over a rock... lessons learned here is not to drive over a rock.

It fits my 2003 Volkswagen Golf MK4 4Cyl 2.0L 8V AVH
Been using this oil pan since December 29, 2018.It’s currently October 12th, 2020 No leaks or anything like that however I’m going to be looking for a steel pan.. not that I don’t like the pan I just want something a bit stronger then aluminum.But so far so good .. make sure you clean the pan before you install it mine was a little dirty ( Metal shavings/dust) from factory.

Perfect
Actually ended up returning but this was an excellent product, only returned it as I ended up finding one nearby that I was able to replace right away with to continue my trip within a few hour walking distance saving me from paying for a tow. Much cheaper than the 500 (without labor) the dealer quoted. Definitely couldn't spend that as the car isn't worth that much!

Thinner and lighter duty then OEM
Oil pan weights 25% lighter then the other two oil pans I compared it to. It is not exactly clear where the weight difference is coming from. It is slightly thinner in the pan, and I imagine it is out of a different aluminum. Fitment was fine. Will update after is has run for a while
