Is it a closed cell foam or more like a EPDM rubber? What temperature ranges is it good for?** A: It is not closed cell foam. It is rubber. I don't know what temperature it would hold up to. **Q: Is this similar to what’s used to retain lawn mower seat vinyl covers?** A: I would say that it is probably similar. Looking at a cross section, it is U shaped with inside gripping edges. I used it as an edge for carpet I installed in a classic car. It fit snuggly and gave the carpet a nice finished edge. **Q: do you have this in clear or tan for toyota camry headliner back.** A: Not sure. Mine is black. **Q: How does it stick?** A: Don’t be fooled. Most people are using wood or Sheetrock screws with a large diameter fender washer to keep trim in place. ## Frequently Bought Together - Edge Trim Black Large, Fits Edge 1/4 Inch, Length 10 Feet (3.05 Meter) - Edge Trim Black Small, Fits Edge 1/16 to 1/8 Inch, Length 10 Feet (3.05 Meter) - Rubber Edge Trim, Self-Adhesive Rubber Edge Trim, Edge Protector for Sheet Metal, EPDM Material, Fit 1/16"(1.6mm), Length 10Ft, Black Color, U Channel Edge Trim --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/59296197-seal-rubber-edge-trim-black-large-u-height-16-6](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/59296197-seal-rubber-edge-trim-black-large-u-height-16-6) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
