This candle has a lovely, light fragrance that fills the room without being overpowering. The amber & fig scent is clean, relaxing, and creates a cozy atmosphere. As a pet owner, I appreciate that I can enjoy this candle around my pets without the concerns I have with many other heavily fragranced and toxic to pets candles. I also like that Sand + Fog is a cruelty-free brand and does not test its products on animals. The packaging is beautiful and feels high quality, and the candle itself is well-made and burns evenly. Everything from the presentation to the fragrance feels thoughtfully designed. Overall, it's a high-quality candle that looks great, smells wonderful, and is a product I feel comfortable using in my home.

Amber & Fig is a nice, light scent that definitely covers pet odors. I have a fairly small house—when I light this candle in a central location, it’s noticeable from most rooms but not in a heavy way. It lasts a while because it’s a relatively large size—good purchase!

Smells great but I wish was alittle stronger

Originally purchased an Amber Fig candle from TJ MAXX and LOVE IT so much, I had to give it a review. The sent is light and fresh and not overly potent. I love that they don't use animal products or harmful chemicals. I also have two dogs at my house, plus board dogs in my home and my house always smells incredible! (Plus I love the adorable paw print on the cover!)

I received one of these candles for my birthday, and instantly fell in love we with it. I have a very active dog who sometimes brings strange smells in with him. I light the candle for a few minutes, and it really helps.

I usually leave the lids on my candles when they are not in use to retain the scent, and they look nice - so the lid of this product was a bit of an unwelcome surprise! I’m a female dog owner and the image on the site indicated the lid was neutral - not for a childish image for a cat owning man! When I took the lid off to smell (which is nice, so I’d recommend amber and fig) the candle was clearly lose in the glass container and actually tipped out completely - it looks like a second hand gift that has been resold, this could be unfair, but this isn't a cheap candle - I love Sand + Fog, but this has been disappointing.

Sand + Fog are manufacturing a line called Sand + Paw and it is safe around pets. I purchased one earlier in TK Maxx and it was great, but they didn’t have it in stock when we ran out, so I ordered from Amazon. They sent a normal Sand + Fog candle, which I’m sure is great and good quality, but I wanted the Sand + Paw as in the description as I have 3 dogs. Therefore, I sent the item back.

Ordered this specifically because it says sand and paws, what you get isn't sand and paws but sand and fog, the other brand they do. Sand an paws is rare in the UK so if you are after it, don't buy this as you won't get sand and paws.
