Reliable Expansion Battery for the DELTA 2 Max
This expansion battery has been a great addition to my DELTA 2 Max setup. The connection process was straightforward, and the unit was recognized immediately by the power station. It provides the extra capacity I was looking for and helps extend runtime for my devices during outages and outdoor use.

Fantastic Fast Delivery of a Quality Product
This EcoFlow 2Max Extra Battery was delivered today and I am very pleased to say it so far functions very good and nothing was broken or damaged during the shipping and delivery process as before in a previous same purchase. I can confirm that the operation and functionality is exactly as described in the advertisement for this product and additional 2048 Watts to my solar generator system will definitely cover my electricity needs during this upcoming summer months and fire season when the main power supply grid is shutdown for public safety. I would recommend these devices be purchased for your homes in case of any future power outages because they are very efficient and and very easy to use and will save you money and discomfort during the upcoming months. Long story short, the EcoFlow company works with customers to help purchase their products by offering different types of payment plans that are compatible with many budgets so anyone can afford to pay for a important product that will help them during power outages that occur very frequently nowadays. Thank you (I’m pretty sure I will purchase one more extra battery so I can run my air conditioner when the heat is causing the power grid to be shut down and instead I will be enjoying my regular life without disruption and sweating in the heat waiting for the power company to turn back on the grid power supply to every house )

Great expansion. About to get me another
I have the delta 2 and needed more capacity. Although it is not listed or pictured. It came with the connector cord. It arrived really fast. I was able to run my fish tank all night for 10 hours and still had 30% capacity. Now I just need to get my solar panels in the roof to get my tank off grid. Should save me 100$ a month. That's what my edison bill is costing me . I also camp often and bring my battery as a back up for days my solar panel doesn't produce enough . These are petite enough to dig under my dinette. It's saved me twice already now. One day I'll get another expansion pack!!! It's convienent enough that I drag it with me to work some days when I know I'm out on the field all day. I run a small microwave to heat up lunch so I'm not eating cold food like a cave man .

Solid Capacity Expansion with Reliable Performance
The EF ECOFLOW DELTA 2 Max Extra Battery is a useful expansion for increasing power capacity. The 2048Wh LiFePO4 battery provides a substantial boost, making it helpful for longer runtime during outdoor use, backup power, or extended projects. Connection to compatible units is straightforward, and the battery integrates seamlessly with supported models. The build quality feels durable and well-constructed, and the unit remains stable during operation. Despite the large capacity, the design is manageable and consistent with the main power station. Performance has been reliable, with steady output and no noticeable issues during use. The LiFePO4 chemistry is also reassuring for longevity. Overall, it’s a practical add-on for anyone looking to expand capacity and extend usage time.

Works like a charm
Has not disappointed! All around great sense of security (power backup)if something goes wrong with the electric supply to the house. Have tested it on many different items for hours on top of hours. It is heavy but simply solved by building a cart that holds the station and extra battery (or 2 batteries). Charges quick by AC power. Planning on testing solar charge soon.

DEFINITELY a must have for an add on to 1kwh batteries!
I bought 3 of Delta 2 batteries, along with a Delta 2 Max extra battery to extend one of the batteries out to 3kwh, and a couple river 2 pro and river 2 max batteries (and about 2200w in solar panels). They are extremely handy in a power outage situation (just tested for days after hurricane Milton), for example 1 delta 2 could run my fridge for about 16 hrs, but with the delta 2 max extra battery, that extended it to about 40-45 hrs! Not too shabby, but if you have panels, and there's no sun...well, gas inverter generator works to power them fairly quickly. That being said, I stockpiled about 8kwh in total in ecoflow batteries in addition to 9 panels of varying strengths ranging from 200w-400w each, with the intention on being able to run my fridge, freezer, internet, power some things like tv, computers, etc, but most importantly, being Florida, my portable AC. It did all of the above great (except for the multi-day cloud cover preventing the panels from being useful), but when attempting to use my portable AC, even on a delta 3 plus (same size, but provides 2 solar inputs and more output for ac plugs), it immediately shuts down the portable AC and goes into an overload status. So, it checked nearly every box, but 90 degrees in a house in florida without ac can really really suck. It did power a few 20" box fans nicely, so I made a bit of a swamp cooler of sorts with those instead. All in all, VERY useful during a multi-day outage, but make sure you have an inverter generator to charge them as well. You will use far less gas from your gas generator in charging these and letting them take over primary power for everything that you would using the gas generator alone. The extra battery really is a must have, because it extends the range of the 1kwh and 2kwh batteries significantly! Just don't be tricked by the fact the main battery always says there is input, even when not hooked to AC power or panels.

Improved charging speed…Software update?
Update: now charging at 296 W. Much better.. originally charged it only 65 W so I contacted Eco flow. They claimed they would do an online update but after four weeks I had not seen it. Now some six months after giving up I plugged it in again to find it is now charging better. Perhaps the software update was done online. Still may take six hours to fully charge, but that’s much better than the 65 W charging speed it had before. Up to four stars on this review OLD REVIEW:Will only charge at 65 W… hooked up to my plugged in Eco flow Delta two unit. This unit charges at only 65 W taking over 24 hours to recharge with the combined unit plugged into a wall outlet. I contacted Eco flow and they said they would send a “firmware update” to the unit as it’s registered in the phone app. Well that’s been 2 1/2 weeks and nothing has happened. Until this is resolved, this is going to be a lousy unit too late to return it now I just plugged it in last week. Will probably discharge and add capacity but recharging this is ridiculously slow
