Osprey Hydraulics Bite Valve Cover Water Reservoir Accessory

Some people are saying that it doesn't fit Osprey's spout. I don't know what they're talking about. You put the ring part under the silicone part, push down until it clicks. Then, put the cap on, push until it clicks. It's perfect. You can now put your pack on the ground without gross stuff getting on your spout.

The cap is amazing exactly what I was hoping for. Would appsalutly keep dust and dirt off the bite valve. Closes tight with a dull snap.

Absolute waste of money. The cap is so loose and doesn't even close all the way. Any slight movement and it pops right off. Camelbak's dust covers are far superior. They have a lip on them that snaps it in place and keeps snug. These are thin, cheal, and useless. I'm going to see if there are any 3rd party companies that make a proper cap.

I love this thing. Easy to install and keepa it clean. It is a little sung on my osprey valve but that makes it secure. I did break one but that was only cause I slammed it in a door...

I haven’t used the product yet on a hike but so far, it seems to fit okay. A little on the loose side. The cap would come off by itself a few times just sitting there in my room. I had to really push down on it to stay on it. The set up was easy. What I don’t understand why the company didn’t included this cap with the $50 or $60 bladder I purchased from them. It’s a rip off to sell this as extra.

Kind of pricey and a little annoying that hydration packs don't come with these automatically but this is a must have to not always be worried what your hydration mouth piece is touching when transporting. You have pull off the bite valve to attach but that is not difficult since you have to do that when cleaning anyway. Must buy only because they don't come with a cover.

If this is really made from Osprey, then it is disappointing. It fits my Osprey hydration pack but very loosely. It does the job of preventing the bite valve from getting dirty but it sits tilted like a home made one. Using it, but not proud.

I'm an avid mountain biker and needed a bite valve cover for my two hydration packs. These are compatible with I assume any HydraPak made bladder and seal for those of you that don't know (HydraPak is the OEM for many companies Osprey, USWE, Evoc, etc.). This fit securely and have not worked/wiggled loose on tough/technical downhill rides, cross country, or going OtB. Overall I have no complaints, would recommend, and would buy again should the need arise (I currently own 2).

This surprisingly helped my mouthpiece clean without having to consciously not letting it touch the floor when i put it down everytime! It is worth it in my opinion as your mouth piece could touch a lot of things along the way!

Al momento le immagini del prodotto del venditore non corrispondono, mi sono fidato di un'altra recensione e mi è andata bene. Pagato 7.76€, cifra che ritengo comunque alta (potevano metterlo a corredo nella sacca come il magnete, suvvia Osprey è un gommino...)

Tapa para la nueva válvula de succión Hydraulics que es más pequeña y compacta que la antigua válvula y se puede abrir el flujo de agua con una sola mano. La tapa encaja muy bien en la nueva válvula y queda completamente cerrada. No sirve para la antigua válvula que era más grande.

Very good fit, very usefull.

Just take the bite valve off and this fits straight on and put the bite valve back with no interference. When you put the cover over the valve, you do need to 'click' it into place - I spent the first day with it flapping around and not staying over the valve so thought it was a waste of money. Seems well made, I paid around £12 which is a bit steep but if I put my pack down I don't want the valve touching anything on the ground, so it does do the job (once you learn to 'click' it on lol)
