Ele funciona bem com aparelhos compatíveis com todas as versões WIFI em especial WIFI 6. A vantagem dele é ter uma banda de frequência grande então se você mora em um apartamento que sofre interferência dos vizinho pode ser uma ótima solução , talvez não seja necessário se não tiver muitos aparelhos wifi interferindo na sua rede. Se sua casa é inteligente cheio de recursos também pode ser bacana. Se procura raio de alcance e não tem wifi 6 talvez seja melhor comprar algo mais em conta. O ponto forte dele é dar maior consistência no sinal que envia dentro de raio de roteador normal tem valor de transferência alta e evita gargalos na sua na rede tem um gerenciador bem legal tanto para computador quanto para celular, QoS assegura para balanceamento da banda que quer priorizar é uma pena que não dê para definir um valor de download e upload de restrição. Ele tem um USB que possibilita colocar um HDD e criar um disco compartilhado, também possibilita criar uma vpn para acessar remotamente, tem vários mecanismo interessante para aprimorar segurança do acesso remoto e modo parental para restringir acesso a sites, programas ... Pros+ Bom para quem quer criar casa inteligente com vários dispositivos wifi quer ter um roteador para acessar eles remotamente, para quem tem muitos aparelhos wifi, tem muitos vizinhos que dão interferência no sinal wifi, precisa de acesso remoto mais seguro, interface fácil com app no android, usb para deixar uma unidade de disco na rede, QoS para personalizar o perfil da rede e gerenciador mais justo de internet na sua rede evitando um gargalo de um dispositivo monopolizando a rede. Como a taxa de transferência é alta é bom para quem gosta de usar Chromecast gosta de assistir tempo real provavelmente com capacidade 8k. Tem rede para visita isolado. Existe suporte no Brasil, pelo menos me responderam por e-mail. Contra- O preço é salgado e esquenta, na usb existe um tradeoff entre ler e transferir arquivo do hdd mais rápido e qualidade da conexão então tenho que deixar transferência baixa do HDD, o log dele não diz muito quanto a causa da falha de conexão, poderia deixar mais claro quando o problema é da rede ou por causa do serviço contratado, deveria ter mais mecanismo para verificar latência.

I thought I’d jump into the WiFi 6 world as my old ‘ac’ class Netgear router was struggling with gaming ‘children’ 4K TV, and multiple smart devices - kept dropping and connection was slow = lots of household moans. So as there seems to be no integrated DSL modem-routers out there in the market, I paired this Archer AX50 with a DrayTek Vigor 130 modem. The modem did the business, passing the internet signal straight to the Archer AX50 with no configuration required. My ISP is BT and the Archer AX50 was then a breeze to set up with them via the Tether app which is very very easy to use. I’d recommend using the ‘Auto Detect’ option though when selecting the internet connection type. I was online again literally in minutes. 24 hours in, I have a strong reliable fast signal with no drop outs. Coverage around the house is also good except in hard to reach places for which I’ve the odd powerline and extender here and there. Very impressed so far and very happy ‘children’ (they are actually in their 20s!)

It's a good router. If you're buying internationally note that it has a UK power plug.

I was not sure whether to get a mesh system or bridge my ISP modem to a new router to fix a few wifi black spots in my house. My ISP supplied router is by no means a bad one in terms of signal though.. I did some research on signal strength of various routers as that was the only thing I was really interested in. A router doesn't make your internet speed any faster. As reference - house is detached dormer bungalow with a footprint of 10m x 20m (30x60ft) with 260sqm (2800sq ft) living area. All concrete block walls downstairs, wooden floor and stud walls upstairs. Router placed in the centre of the house downstairs. This router didn't disappoint..No more blackspots in the house and overall a 5-10 DBM improvement, especially on the 5Ghz band- I now have a usable signal in the whole house (-70DBM at worst where I didn't have signal before) I can't say anything about speed as I only have less than 100Mbps download speed and this router maintains this throughout the house. Setup was easy - just update firmware before you start. Haven't used the app yet and only had the router since yesterday - so I "reserve the right" to update my review later.. but for now all good.. and with wifi 6 it is kind of future proof as well - and with 3 years warranty..
