Review: Received the item in good condition however the condition of the book is not new as there’s some dent and discolored at the top of the book Review: I freaking loved Bridesmaid for Hire. It was entertaining and charming with fantastic characters. I loved the antagonistic relationship between Maggie and Brody, their verbal sparring, and watching it morph into something more. I loved the ins and outs of their history, the humor, the drama, and the exciting build to them coming together. There were so many hilarious scenes that had me cracking up, I couldn't get enough. This was an incredible read! I loved Maggie and Brody and the witty barbs thrown between them. I loved how they were thrust together in this unique situation in Bora Bora, creating a countless number of hilarious scenes that had me laughing. I felt so much for Brody, he was such a good guy but could not catch a break and it seemed like the universe was against him while vacationing. This created some incredibly funny moments. I loved Maggie and how tenacious and outgoing she was, she had a heart of gold. I loved learning about their feelings and how long they'd been harboring them. I loved the growing want and need between them and thought there was great development. When their feelings started to come to life and Brody turned on the charm, I pretty much melted. I loved that building heat and sexual tension between them and when it finally unleashes, it was perfection. This baby was steamy hot! There's a lot thrown at Maggie and Brody helping to create a lot of comical, lively moments. I liked the people involved and the various interactions bringing even more humor and a bit of drama and tension. Brody with the guys on the island was fun. I also liked Brody's relationship with Gary, Maggie's brother. It was a true bromance that was really quite sweet. There were characters mentioned from stories I have not read and now I'm excited to go back and read those books as well. I loved this so much. It was laugh-out-loud funny, heartfelt, spicey, and sweet! I am a sucker for great banter and this story excelled with it. I absolutely recommend Bridesmaid for Hire. This book left me smiling and ridiculously happy!

This was such a fun book! Bridesmaid for Hire has a funny, lighthearted storyline that keeps you turning the pages, and it made for a great book club pick — everyone loved it. It’s charming, easy to read, and the perfect feel-good summer read.

I bought the book when I realized the first I had bought was the second of a series. But first chapter and I think I’m not gonna appreciate much. It’s way too much clichê and the way she writes is way too much bad-taste romantic comedy. And it’s a little too much all those embarrassing situations. She paints the main male character as cocky and sure of himself, just to make him do stupid things to “please” his boss. It doesn’t add up. And his pathetic behavior in the end, acting like a baby feeling sorry for himself, not very endearing. But I did cried a lot in the end when things starts to look good again.

After reading her new book “Till Summer do we Part” which was a 5 ⭐️ read ….i loved this book so much , I thought I would try another book from Ms Quinn. I was really positive I would love this new book that I even purchased this on Audio too. However , I learned quickly that this was definitely NOT like the book I just read . You had the MLC ( Brody ) as very weak ( unless he was in bed ) in bed was the only place he felt confidence . Everywhere else he had absolutely no self confidence . Maggie a Wedding / event planner was way to confident in everything ( not that this is a bad thing in the real world , but it can turn some people off too , especially in the way you go about doing things ) Maggie had a plan when she got to Bora Bora ( Just go on vacation and bring sexy/suggestive Bathing suits to hook up with men in speedos …just a girl wanting to have fun ! ) Then she found out the “wedding of the century “ was going to be held there in just a matter of days and needed find an “ In”to this wedding In order to expand her business opportunities. Maggie was going to get in , no matter what it takes . Including attaching herself to Brody who happens to be her brothers best friend . Now as a Rom-Com , this sounds like this is going to be a great lol romp through a pacific island and a Wedding . So this is where it turns MEH . To me it’s about the characters , they just didn’t work . Brody , kept on doing things wrong as well as getting trouble with his Boss throughout the whole trip . Maggie was way to confident in and out of the bedroom and the Father of the Bride ( Brodies Boss ) really liked her , so much so after loosing a Bridesmade , she then became one of them . Also , they lost me at all the sex that they were having in and out of their room .i love a great love scene no matter how explicit it gets , however , felt it took over the book and was starting to loose the plot .they were also pretty crude ( Brody ) he loved describing his body parts and Maggie’s crudely. To me it was more of a turn off. The experience was proven worse on audio . Maggie sounded very nonchalant and uncaring to get what she wanted and the voice of Brody literally sounded like a gruff 55+ man . On audio, the voice is everything . Even though they described his looks , muscles and clothing ,the audio messed with my mind . I visualized Brody ( no matter how the author described him ) Brody was described as a 42 yr man who was good looking and well muscled . but that dang audio book had my mind visualizing a man in his sixties with gray hair that dressed like a south beach Floridian , red faced (from the sun ) that sweats a lot . It’s all about the voice in audio . Will I try another Meghan Quinn book . Sure , but intend to but the rest of the Bridesmaid series on my TBR shelf for now , while I read other books for now .
