Best heartburn meds there are
I have been using this heartburn medication for over a year! It works without causing you to keep needing it, because it doesnโt kill the acid in the stomach that you still need. Love this. My entire family uses it.

Gross and sticky
Did nothing for me. So gross and sticky, canโt get it off my teeth and the inside of my mouth. Yuck.

Works well for me
Really work well for my needs. Better taste and texture than most of the other OTC products I've tried.

Helped but can no longer take.
I purchased these because of the sodium alginate. It's good for LPR symptoms. This product helped with my LPR symptoms but unfortunately it may have caused a side effect I did not anticipate. When purchasing these, I was aware of the apple cider vinegar in the ingredients but I did not know how chewy and STICKY these tablets would be. I mean, having-to-swish-water-in-your-mouth-and-use-your-fingers kind of sticky. After finishing the first bottle, I noticed some tooth sensitivies. I wondered if these could be potentially causing it. I did a search on ACV side effects and found it can cause tooth enamel to wear away leading to sensitivities. So although these tablets have a small amount of ACV, they do stick to your teeth increasing your exposure time to it. It was one of those "no duh" moments. ACV is an acid. So why is it even in a product that is supposed to help with ACID reflux? In my research, I also learned it can cause slow gastric emptying. Again, that's not something you want when you have acid reflux/LPR. Granted these tablets also have digestive aids in the ingredients to possibly help counter that. I don't know. One thing I do know is that I don't want these things sticking to my teeth with ACV in them. I have enough issues with my tooth enamel due to LPR. I don't want to exacerbate it. Dear manufacturers, please remove the apple cider vinegar. It is not needed and can be harmful to teeth already exposed to acid reflux. Thank you.

not the same as NutraSec, their former product
My wife and I used Nutrasec for many years. It's no longer available. The vendor has told me that this product (Reflux Ease) is their replacement for NutraSec, claiming it was designed to serve the same purpose. My wife has used Reflux Ease and she tells me they have an unpleasant taste and are not effective for her, whereas NutraSec was. I've not used them because I'm not happy with the ingredients in Reflux Ease. Though the ingredients of the two products are very similar, some that I found of value are no longer present here. The pills may or may not be a little larger, but they cost twice as much as NutraSec, about $0.21 vs $0.42 per tablet. Reflux Ease contains only 60 tabs, while NutraSec had 90. Nutrasec was around $18 a bottle for many years, though it recently rose to $19/bottle.
