KIWI design Comfort Battery Head Strap Compatible with Meta Quest 3/Quest 3S,Single Point Charging

Two of my biggest complaints about the Quest 3 were its dubious comfort with the fabric strap and the disappointing battery life. This strap fixes both. The padded headset is more comfortable, easier to put on and take off, and the additional weight balances the headset nicely. And yes, it seemingly quadruples the battery life of the headset. My only disappointments are minor; the larger back piece makes laying down or leaning back a little less comfy (since there’s a battery in the way, so forgivable). Additionally, it would be nice if there was some kind of notification when the extended battery drained - you can’t see the LEDs when you’re in VR! So a small beeper or something would be nice. Heck, even Meta could fix that with a “Headset not charging” notification. So not really Kiwi’s fault. If you own a Quest 3, you should just buy this strap. It’s the best one out there.

Let me start by saying this is my 3rd headstrap I’ve tried and has best comfort and battery life so far played for about 2.5 hrs and still had 100% on headset and 50% left on battery strap.i also had the Aubika battery strap and returned it seemed to drain fast although others say its great I like the kiwi better It uses the battery strap power first then uses the quest internal battery last haven’t even drained the headstrap yet. Only thing that sucks is that there’s no on off switch it powers on once u plug it in to the quest and off once u unplug it. I also got the charging stand to go with it and let me tell u it’s awesome I love it so clean looking and convenient to just place it and done. I recommend this strap 100%

This strap does extend the battery by almost double, and if your headset is like mine it doesn't last long without needing charging. You could wear the strap for hours without any complaints. The fact that you can charge the head set and the battery bank simultaneously is pretty sweet. But you do need to unplug the battery bank from the head set when you arent using it otherwise it will kill the battery bank.

I've used KIWI products since back in the Rift S days and they haven't failed me yet. Now that I own a Quest 3, I ordered this head strap to extend play time, and to be able to play comfortably as well. I did not like the original strap this VR headset came with. This head strap was night and day. Immediate difference right out of the box. I played for maybe a solid 3 hours with zero discomfort. I wear both glasses and contacts and playing on the Quest 3's original strap with glasses made it a bit annoying to put on and take off. I could never quite find the sweet spot when adjusting the original strap so I always felt the headset pressing against my face a little too much which in turn pushed my glasses down on me even more. This KIWI head strap slightly folds and made it an absolute breeze when I wear glasses. The weight distribution with the battery pack on the back was great. I didn't feel any pressure on my face the entire time, nor did my glasses press down on my nose. I didn't even talk about the battery, but it absolutely does the job. Don't expect 12 hours, but this battery already makes Quest 3's battery look sorry. TL;DR: Huge upgrade over the Quest 3's original strap, the strap's slight folding makes it very glasses friendly, very comfortable to wear for extended periods, battery extender absolutely does the job.

I Love it especially compared to the basic quest 3 head strap which was best when lying down versus the Kiwi strap that provides much better support all around with the battery strap makes it such a good overall value. It came in a nice packaging with simple set up instructions, good build quality, and functionality with simple design. My only caveyot is that the weight distribution on a person head still tends to put most of it on your forehead and eye area after a few hours, but It will tremendously be an improvement compared to the basic one which press against you with little cushioning unlike this one.

At first it didn't hold a charge but then after 1 use it charged just fine and gives me about 4-6hrs of game time not the 2 that the meta 3 comes with

We came from quest 1/2 and oculus go’s and we have used lots of different brands, mainly AMVR. This installs and fits close to OEM and is much better then the stock strap. The counterweight and adjustment works as advertised. Color is close, but not a perfect match which I am not holding against the manufacturer. But the battery. Knowing it’s lithium we charged it by itself to fill charge prior to installing. After 24 hours on a usb-c wall charger it still blinks on the 1st light (25%). So we installed and gamed then tried to charge. No luck. It is not passing enough current to even charge the headset. This time we unplugged the headset and charged the quest by itself and again tried to charge the head strap. Looks like this may be a lost cause. There is no life from the battery packs we received. We have 2x Meta Quests 3’s and both the straps seem to have the same failure. We are now considering spending double the price and just ordering the meta 3 brand and sending these back, at this point we have given these a fair shot and they have failed at every point. Unless KIWICO reaches out to us for a solution this product may be just a another Amazon Chinese dud which sucks as we had high hopes.

I purchased this to make my Quest 3 easier to adjust for my son. It’s a lot easier for him to use now and for us to switch back and forth from his head to mine. The extended battery life it offers is a plus. My favorite part is the plastic side straps compared to the original straps which are white, elastic straps that get dirty fast. The headset feels more comfortable and sturdier with this configuration.

Das beste Elite Strap das ich jemals hatte. Super bequem und mit der passenden Ladestation kann man sowohl das Quest Akku und das Zusatzakku gleichzeitig laden ohne den USB Stecker dauern raus und rein mache zu müssen. Und beim spielen lädt das Zusatzakku kontinuierlich so das 4 Stunden spielen kein Problem sind. Ich habe viele ausprobiert, auch das Bobo S3. Hat mir zu stark auf die Stirn gedrückt und wie andere auch, hat es immer wieder beim spielen aufgehört zu laden und man musste den USB Stecker raus und rein machen, damit weitergelaufen wird. Also das Kiwi Head Strap ist spitze

I could play all day with this strap. Its very comfortable and easy to take on/off without risk to the lenses. The battery, I'd say adds 2-4 hours to my Quest 3 which is about double battery life. I also don't find it particularly heavy. If anything the weight of the battery on the back balances the head more with the headset on front. Also using this decreases the chance you break the Quest 3 charging port (which has been known to happen) because you keep the battery plugged into the headset and then your regular plug unplug is this strap's battery charging port instead. If you break that you're out a lot less money than if you break the headset.
