Shower Head 40cm Extender and Universal Riser Rail Bracket Kit

What a fantastic product I only wish I'd found earlier. I don't write reviews very often, but I was compelled in this case Having to recently have a new mixer bar shower replaced, I wanted a fancy overhead shower, but sadly due to mounting issues could have one installed, so had to replace with a standard run of the mill mixer bar. Also, having an old boiler gives me low hot water pressure, so my shower experience wasn't great I had thought about doing a DIY job to improve the situation until I came across the RinserPro, and let me tell you ... IT'S FANTASTIC !! I have converted my wall mounted shower to a great overhead shower, and it's given the overhead shower experience I had always hoped for. Moving the shower head away from the wall has reduced the wall proximity effect that was also an issue I contacted the seller as I was having initial issue with a stable install, but the customer service is outstanding and helped to quickly resolve my issue without further problem !!! If you're looking for a cheap alternative to a fully installed overhead shower, look no further, this really will solve that problem

Ordered Wed evening, arrived Sat morning. The minimal fitting instructions that come with the extender don't suggest one step likely to be needed for many existing shower head holders: the original holder on your original riser pole, into which the shower head used to slot before you stuck the extender pole in instead, often has a rotating part to let the head be tilted up and down. The combined weight and additional leverage with the extender bar fitted there instead mean the whole thing droops uselessly... unless you first tighten the screw inside the existing holder so as to lock it reasonably firmly into one position. Could be big disappointment if you don't know to do this!

This product once fitted correctly is excellent as it allows the shower head to protrude into the bath enabling us (we live in a low water pressure area) to have a full flow shower without pinning ourselves into the corner of the bath. The problem we encountered with fitting the rinser pro was firstly our shower slider rail clamp was too easily moved by the weight of the rinser pro. However we contacted the supplier who promptly sent us a replacement clamp. At first we couldn't get the replacement clamp to move to the correct position so had to contact the supplier again who assured us it could be altered. Please be aware that it can be moved to the correct position but with great force and difficulty. We were just scared incase it broke. However by using the rinser pro rod I managed to force the clamp head position correctly. I have suggested the supplier supplies instructions which he says he will. All in all it is an excellent product just needs clear instructions.

OK but will NOT support the weight of a heavier shower spray without fixing a clothes rail end to the bathroom tiles to support the weight.( near the end with the white rubber) Having done that works fine .

Can't thank this company enough.. needed something to take my shower head away from the wall and decided to go for the Rinserpro shower head extender. Delivered in good time and a perfect match for my needs, after installation it looked the part and didn't look like an "add on" but I was aware of the cantilever and the leveridge and tightened the screw on the existing holder where the new extender arm fitted into and everything seemed good until I turned the shower on, the extra weight of the water caused it to descend. After contacting the company, which reacted instantly, they immediately sent a modified part out (free of charge) which I received 2 days later which did the job perfectly. Highly recommend the company and the product 100% satisfaction.

The shower head extender could not be tightend enough to support the weight of the shower head. We do have old fittings so they are more heavy than the new stuff on offer. The price is reasonable if it had worked.

I bought this product to extend the shower above my head so I can shower hands free, my shower rail is attached to wall above the bath taps and does not have a very strong flow. No screwdrivers or tools are required to fit this This equipment allows me to extend the shower unit above me, it was easy to fit, the pole fits into my existing shower head holder and then you place the shower in the new shower head holder on the extention pole and I drappes the hose over the wall mounted shower rail to stop it pulling the shower head downwards. The showerhead holder on the extention has more than enough grip to hold your shower head in position, I love this product as its solved my problem exactly. One thing to note because the hose drapes over the shower rail, if you want to remove the shower head to use it freely its a little fiddly as you have to unhook the hose and remove the shower head from its entension and it does wobble when doing this , I don't think my elderly dad would have liked doing this, but I leave it in above my head always and it's works perfectly for me.

Like many others who've bought this device, I needed the additional 'rigid holder' (dispatched courteously & speedily on request by provider) to prevent 'shower head droop' and also purchased a lighter weight of shower head too to make it even better. By doing so, I ended up with PERFECTION for MY shower experience. COMPLETELY SOLVED the problem I (& other 'tall' guests) used to have, of water splashing back, running behind the bath onto floor & thence to kitchen ceiling!!! With this Water now goes NOWHERE near this route &, additionally, my shower QUALITY has soared as the water arrives from a much better angle. My wife, much shorter, never had my problem & prefers the old system. FORTUNATELY we BOTH win as I simply move shower head from 'old' position to 'new bracket' position for my perfect shower, then replace it in my wife's preferred location for her 'perfect shower'. Took a bit of effort & perseverance to get there, but it was WELL WORTH a few teething troubles. It would have been 5* if the extra bracket/rigid holder was included with the original 'kit'!!!

In the unlikely situation that you need this product (and how would you see it otherwise?), don't hesitate. It adds a whole new level to positioning your showerhead. Build quality is fine. If your original shower bracket cannot be tightened much, you might need the reinforced bracket, contact the seller if you are unsure, I had very good experience.
