With just 5 blocks, the effect isn’t strong enough to significantly drop the water temperature or maintain it in the optimal cold range for long. I tested it myself and ended up ordering more — once I had 15, the experience was exactly what I was aiming for. The molds are sturdy, easy to fill and reuse, and they keep their shape after multiple uses. They’d also be great for parties, coolers, or large drink containers, but if you’re serious about cold plunging, go ahead and get multiple kits from the start.
