It looks well made and has some weight to it. It's pretty easy to install and fit our existing door holes well. I bought specifically for the programmable smartkey feature that allows the lock to be re-keyed so you can use the same key as your other existing Kwikset locks. So, one key for all the outdoor locks if you like. I also like that the lower part of the handle has a screw to secure it to the door.
