It's nice and compact. The non-flexible cover means it doesn't scratch the lens as you rotate it out. The plus side is that it's relatively distortion free for the diameter of lens. The minus side is that it's not as strong a magnification as you might expect from the description As a rough guide, if you need a slight visual assist reading the ingredients on a corn flakes packet, it'll about do. If it's for studying and identifying small insects (which I do) you'll find it challenging.

I can't read the small print on labels and tins anymore - even with my glasses on so sent for this to give it a go. It's great. I can see. Its made of strong plastic, the lens folds away easily and it gives a good, clear view.

Needed this for reading small print in pub, shops etc. Just what I needed. Will fit in pocket OK without scratching lens Might have been better with a leather type case.

Bought this for work to keep in my pocket. However, I find this too bulky and not as small as I'd expected. I don't use it for work but still make use for it around the house.

Very poor magnification, certainly not 6x as advertised. I bought from another supplier a 5x magnification which is far more powerful, yet only cost 99p plus p&p.

Not impressed.Magnification claim is debatable.Sent it straight back. Cost me more in post and package than I paid for it.Cheaper to just bin it

I compared the magnification to that of a similar item, purchased from the same Company, a few years ago, and this new unit is definitely inferior, both in vision and quality. Shame.
