Standard End Supports 1PCS BK10, 1PCS BF10 for CNC Machine Parts SFU1204 Ball Screw

These are shipped with a well documented flaw in the BK10 block where there is no spacer between the outer race between the two bearings, which means it is not possible to create proper preload between the bearings. In this case the issue is worse because there is about 1mm of axial play left when the two bearings are supposed to be constrained axially, even with the clamping flange tightened all the way down.To use these at all you will need to manufacture a simple spacer. I have no idea how these could be manufactured and sold with such a glaring mistake.The BF10 has no shoulder and the bearing is simply press fit into the housing.Both have simple deep groove 6001 bearings which is expected at this price. I was surprised that both parts are made from steel and not aluminum.

Modified this product to crush soda cans. The ball screw is able to handle the 60 pounds of force that the stepper motor put's on it to crush the soda cans. Well designed product.

This will be regarding a 400mm long SFU1204 ball screw.This part, had a bit of tolerance issues. its not fully eccentric and has slight bend. About 0.07mm over the length. Working ok for now, i did not end up using it on my CoreXY printer, i am likely to use it on another project.

Not sure if the shipping grease had hard particulate in it or what, but the screw I received felt like it had metal shavings in it. I don't have the parts cleaning bath setup in the new shop so I guess I'll have to try cleaning it will plastics compatible electronics cleaner and hope it's not ruined.There is a ton of it inside the screw nut, it is those little black particles. Some are still stuck in the roll in between the raceways. Also in the threaded section. This makes the nut they shipped completely unusable. To use this I would have to thoroughly clean the screw and buy a whole new nut.Seriously considering retiring this, completely useless.
