I had become disillusioned with the variety of decaffeinated coffee available at my supermarket, so I decided to investigate available brands on Amazon. This product caught my eye because of the catchy labelling and the quirky name. I was then pleased to find out that it used the Swiss water method for decaffination which had been recommended to me by a friend.I used a moka pot to make coffee on my stove and served it with some warm milk. It is silky and smooth with a light chocolate caramel flavour and deep aromatics. It is not bitter at all.I was also pleased to discover the it is made in Yorkshire, so I'm buying locally. All and all a lovely coffee and I'll definitely buy this again.

After getting muscle issues on normal coffee, I decided to try this. I tried to give it up but I like a warm drink in the mornings. Anyway I'll see if it helps either way its nice, wet, warm and black and its UK made so even better.

Good taste, consistent creamier viscosity, deep taste - even as a De-Caf.

I thought I would try this coffee based on positive reviews about flavour etc. Unfortunately, this coffee produces a very weak drink, far too weak for me. I can't fault the coffee for not being to my taste hence 3 stars rather than 1.For anyone who prefers a weak coffee this is probably good but for me sadly I can't drink it so it will have to go in the bin.

Not bad for the price, i really enjoyed it when i first discovered it but since found better decaf options, i would still enjoy a cup of this and buy on sale perhaps for a bargain but happy to pay only a few pounds more for something i prefer

After deciding to give caffeine a break I looked long and hard for an alternative. I stumbled across a chemical free process that claims to use water to extricate the caffeine from the bean without loss of taste . Skeptical I looked on amazon for a product and came across Grumpy Mule decaff which uses the Swiss water process to cleanse beans of the caffeine and I duly ordered. To be clear I am a complete coffee addict and have no intention of going "caffeine free" forever so I was really not expecting to think much of this product based on previous forays into the world of decaff.. How wrong I was, after brewing in a cafetiere I smelt what can only be described as the rich,strong and wonderful coffee aroma. Still dubious I tasted the coffee and let me tell you it didn't disappoint. Strong well rounded coffee with such a good taste I wondered if there was actually a mix up and still cant believe this is caffeine free.Well done Grumpy mule and thank you science for osmosis although I will be back to the wake up juice very shortly this offers a real alternative to caffeine without loss of flavour.Great packaging as well compliments this gourmet coffeeGreat job
