Amazon Fresh Decaf Colombia Ground Coffee, Medium Roast, 12 Ounce

This is a delicious, satisfying, full-bodied decaf which makes me forget it's without caffeine. A good value too, which made it to my subscribe and save list!

The Aroma of the coffee very good. I was pleasantly surprised at the good flavor. Didn’t seem to bother my stomach acid at all, enough caffeine to notice, but no problem with it. The Flavor is really very good. Honestly it is one of the better decaf coffees I’ve tried in a long while. Personal taste for me, I prefer coffee a little between medium and dark roast. This fits my taste.

This AmazonFresh Columba Decaf's aroma hits you as soon as you open the bag! And it tastes SO much richer (with a touch of chocolate flavor) than my last, more expensive (organic) coffee. It's a quality bag - well sealed with the wire roll-down re-seal set up and the one-way value to remove air from the bag. The price is amazing at 63 cents per ounce on Subscribe & Save! BUT... I did not do my homework. The Alexa bot tells me this is chemically processed which I try to avoid in all foods. It makes sense considering the price and you can read back & forth all day about how much of the chemical remains after roasting... but I drink ALOT of decaf coffee. I had stepped back from insisting on organic... and mold-free... now I have to decide about the process. If you've made peace with the possibility of chemical remainder, you will LOVE this decaf. Me, I have to go ponder while I enjoy another cup... or two ;-)

Great taste and aroma for a decaf coffee. It is smooth, fresh, and not too bitter. I really enjoyed it and would definitely buy it again.

Decent quality for the price, definitely lighter in flavor/roast than I would like but it doesn't give me heart palpitations/jitters like the other "decaf" coffees I've tried. The taste is alright, not too strong or acidic, but it doesn't prevent me making a second cup later in the day. Overall, it's helping me with my coffee/caffeine withdrawal and helps me continue my morning coffee routine.

Hard to compare between Amz Decaf Columbia vs Village Favorite decaf. They have a taste of their own. Definitely does come off as decaf with both. At the same time, they're both better than a lot of decaf if you put in the right amount of sweetener, milk and etc. It's not lacking or bland. You do feel a background missing. I would recommend either one if you want decaf and be able to taste it. Don't think either one is Swiss water process which means it's done without chemicals. No idea of the farm origin which is what makes it cheaper. It cost more for them to trace it back to the farm as a way to support the farmers. But it comes down to budget vs how you feel about farmers getting better income. As for tasty enough to stand out and have me drink more, no. It's not the same after you try a long list of specialty coffee. Decaf doesn't offer the same options. Choices are very lacking in the decaf dept. If you're new to decaf and you wonder which one is worth trying, don't think you can go wrong with Amz one or Village Favorite. Make it cold brew concentrate and dilute to your liking. Make it concentrated and make sure to add more water to the grounds and 2nd or 3rd time to extract the rest. Cold is bold. This applies to both coffee and tea. The flavor is stronger when it's cold vs hot. Hot mutes the flavor. In terms of Amz Fresh coffee, they're not bad. To think of price, the way it taste, over all value, Amz Fresh isn't bad. Much better than most of the brands you see in stores that have been around for a long time. Beats Folgers and similar brands (Blue Mtn, Dunkin, McD, every other brand in a pod). All those brands taste burnt. In terms of of over all value for pretty good coffee decaf or reg, it's not bad. If I had a choice, I rather trace it to farmer and know they're doing better.

This is the best tasting decaf that I’ve found!

When the cost of my favorite German coffee went through the roof I switched to the Amazon Medium Roast. I use 1/2 decaf and 1/2 regular of the same product. I find that it brews a hearty cup of coffee with good to great flavor and still mild enough not to upset my stomach. The price is compelling.
