This Guy Somehow Terminated Ethernet With This!
This thing works great! Even a goon like me was able to use them effectively! I fixed a cable that had been cut.

Solid, does the job, good price.
Gets the job done, did a cat 6a recently and not an expert but it is humming along solid. Did a few different terminations where I just needed the cut and strip - also great. Would recommend.

pass through network crimper and cutter tool
pin setter worked EXTREMELY WELL! pass thru cutter didn't work that well, it left the wires still there and had to use a razor blade to finish the job. but I am still well pleased in this item as it got me back up and running fast!

Excellent and high quality
Cuts through thick jackets with ease and made my refit of my home's CAT6A a breeze. It is a very solid tool and very easy to use. It even comes with a handy RJ45 wiring diagram for those of us who couldn't remember if it was the green or orange wire that comes next.

I should have got this a long time ago.
Love it, it cuts the passed through pairs every time with no issues. I prefer this over my expensive Cat cable crimper.

Trash tool, cannot cut properly on the company's own passthrough plugs, non-adjustable
This tool is useless.Even with Cable Matters' own passthrough plugs, with the plugs fully inserted in the tool, the blade does not align well, chewing up the wire and leaving at least a full millimeter hanging out the end of the plug. Other tools I own do not have this problem with those same plugs.The blade is screwed on all the way and appears to be where it's supposed to be... it's just a crappy tool... maybe over-painted?Additionally, the strip blade depth is not adjustable so you'll likely end up cutting the wire rather than just the outer jacket of the cable.If I still had the package, I would not hesitate to return this junk.
