It works as expected.
Car: 2016 Honda Pilot Audio Connection: AUX Previously, I was using the HondaHack with CarLinkit on the integrated infotainment system in the Pilot. That setup was good as it used the build in screen and the volume and next track buttons on the steering wheel worked. BUT wired connectivity was hit or miss. It would only connect 25% of the time. So that is why I installed this after market screen. It works as expected and connects to my iPhone via wireless (there doesn't seem to be a wired option). It now connects 100% of the time. Two things to be aware of: (1) you may need to buy a feedback filter if using the AUX connection - otherwise you may hear a background hum. (2) If the last connected iPhone is within range (in the house while car is in the driveway), it will not allow you to connect another previously connected iPhone. You will need to drive off and be out of range to connect the other iphone (not sure if this is standard bluetooth behavior or not).

Great Product for Older Vehicles
A very easy way to add Car Play to an older car without having to open the dashboard up and remove the old radio and do any new wiring. Make sure to read all the instructions before setting it up. It was an easy installation and setup.

Very solid screen.
Awesome screen, works great in multiple vehicles and transferring is very easy. Backup camera is nice but unfortunately didn’t work for the vehicle I bought it for due to the vehicle build. Would recommend getting.

Bring your 2000s car into the 2010s+
Easy connectivity to iPhone and the car radio FM band. Great value for the expense versus a non-existent option that’s from the factory. This was to add to a base audio system for a 2010 Audi Q5 Premium Plus SUV. Screen works well - but I admit there are a handful of times (have not found a consistent issue) the screen restarts itself. Also sound quality since using FM station through radio can sometimes get static when near a broadcast station competing for the signal. Best use for me is the visibility of a mapping app or playing streaming audio or podcasts via my phone.

Works perfectly, change speaker settings to project through your car.
I was really amazed by this one, value, size, clear screen even in hot weather, +100 f this summer. I wasn't expecting real Android Auto or Car-Play. I was expecting it to make me download some off-brand mirroring app that was slow. No, it did exactly what it said it does and worked flawlessly communicating from my Sync 1 to my phone. I really don't know how my phone or this device work it out, but they do. My phone connects to my car's Sync 1 and connects to this as Car-kit. Somehow I'm able to use my hands-free calling features on my steering wheel and plays everything through my car system while showing navigation--just like I wanted. Something to keep in mind, it connects to a cigarette lighter outlet and my car outlet stays on even when my car is off so I had to use a tap-a-fuse to power it. In the end it works amazing and looks really clean by running the power to a buck converter to a tap-a-fuse. I mean, the connector has a buck converter so, if someone's good with a soldering iron they can use that with a cord hanging out of it, or just buy a converter to knock the voltage down.

Love it! Change my old car completely (2 in 1)
I love it! I definitely recommend this one. This changed the way I ride my 2004 Highlander. 1. I have a reverse camera now so I can easily park my car. 2. I also have more or less a navigation system where I can see the map and I can hear the directions. It doesn't drain the car battery (I connected it to a bluetooth/transmission device that I am not using as a Bluetooth). 3. Using the car stereo system to listen to music on my phone and call others. I can simply say: Hey Google please call "x". Without touching my phone or the touch screen itself. Drawbacks are few and not bothering me really and are because of my very old car model only: 1. It will not switch to camera view simply by putting the car gear on Reverse like camer-buit system. It requires touching the screen few times to switch between the reverse camera view & between the Android Auto/Carplay navigation system. 2. I don't have AUX on my old car so I use it on the radio transmission option (use the lowest FM channel possible for less statistics.) If have a similar situation, expect to have some statistic/noise once in a while. For me it works for long roadtrips with little static and I can enjoy my podcasts for long uninterrupted hours on the highway. Overall, it is an Excellent system. I've used it for few months now without a glitch. It stayed on my dash despite me moving the screen around so many time (and I wasn't gentle). The mount didn't break or get loose at all. If you are looking for a good one, I recommend this.

Save your money. Looks cool, but inconsistent.
Product is okay- I’m glad I cancelled another order. Good: Easy to pair to phone. Con: 1) no way to pair to BT on car stereo- hence why they provided a 3.5mm jack. 2) Used on first day and device rebooted 3-5 times in one hour. This cause me to drop some important calls.

Get it foo.
Works good. I have an old BOSS radio that has am/fm, aux and Bluetooth tooth. This thing u plug it in and turn on the Bluetooth/Wifi to phone. And connect to name of tablet Carkit. Now it marries to ur phone. All the sound of the apps and ITunes will come out via tablet. To change it. Go into Home Screen of the tablet go to settings and u can choose FM broadcast, Bluetooth connection Aux connection. Don’t use FM unless ur radio has nothing else. If u were already connected to car radio Bluetooth don’t bother connecting via tablet leave it alone. Use aux if u want wire connection. Now turn on ur radio set it on Bluetooth. Open up ur ITunes app play sum music. The sound will come out via tablet to make it come out via ur car radio Bluetooth… At the bottom of screen on ur ITunes app u can change were u want sound to come from. The cellphone speaker, ur radio or tablet. Change it to ur car radio Bluetooth name And boom u good. If you don’t do this. When u open ur WAZE, Apple Maps, Google Maps the sound from those apps will be muffled. If u are playing music u will barely hear app in the background. If follow steps above. Navigating app sounds will only come out via tablet and be nice & loud. U can still manipulate ITunes via CarPlay.
