I Love Woolite Darks Liquid and I wash almost everything in this or the Whites as they both do help preserve your clothing like no other detergent out there. It also has a clean fresh scent that isn’t over powering but is also gentle on my very sensitive skin which is very hard to find. I also love the small 50oz. bottle that I use for pouring the larger 66 load bottle into due to a back injury and It works so well I have my husband convinced so I now wash his work clothes in it as well and they aren’t falling apart anymore! The first thing I need to tell you: I am picky about my laundry. No dark items washed with white fabrics, NEVER. And darks are always washed in cold water, ALWAYS. Woolite Darks Defense laundry detergent meets my criteria. The dark items always turn out soft and color perfect, and even have a fresh scent. My problem? It is often difficult to find Woolite Darks Defense in my local grocery stores. Amazon to the rescue! My order arrives promptly, and I have never had a problem with leakage. Great service and highly recommended!

I've noticed a considerable difference in dark clothes when washin with the Woolite brand as opposed to the Oxiclean brand. Don't get me wrong, I like Oxiclean. It works well for other cleaning. But when it comes to dark clothes, the Woolite brand outperforms the Oxiclean. In efficiency, in results, in scent, etc. It has kept my black shirts from fading in wash. I always hang dry my darks, never go in the dryer. So I'm sure that helps a lot too, to preserve the darkness to dark clothes. However, I think it doesn't matter what brand of dark wash laundry detergent I use, none of it really helps with dyed denim, even if the use of vinegar to set the dye was done prior. Dye will still leech out no mater what detergent I use. But this only applies to denim pants/jeans. It does work well on polyester blend and rayon pants.

I’ve been washing my black clothes with this, and I’m thrilled. My jeans had white streaks on them, but after washing with this product, they look almost brand new. The quality is superb. Skin-friendly, smell freshness, work effectiveness.
