Van Halen: Every Album, Every Song

I have all of the Van Halen music. Love both the early Roth and also Van Hagar. I even enjoyed the Van Halen III. This author describes the songs as a musician as I see he is in his little bio on back of the book. Talks about how a song is wrote on I,IV,VI frets and things like that. I had no idea what he meant by that so if you aren`t a musician you get lost a lot! Author loves David Lee Roth and can`t say anything good about Sammy. I found that upsetting. I wanted a book on all the singers and not reading bad about any of them. I wish this author would have wrote his book about Roth only. He could have made it about his Van Halen days and then his solo recordings. I was not very interested in most of this book however there were a few things I found interesting.

This book describes every song from every album released by Van Halen. Some very interesting facts. There is also some technical info for those that want more detail about how he created the sounds. I read it as I listened to each album. Recommended!
