Very well presented in nice box but as I've bought it as a Christmas present for my son I obviously haven't opened it but I know he will love it.

It looks really good but I cannot say for sure as it's a Christmas gift which is to be opened on Christmas day

As a longtime fan of The Beatles and a LEGO enthusiast, I was thrilled to explore this innovative set, and it exceeded my expectations in every way.With 681 pieces, this set offers a comprehensive building experience that captures the essence of The Beatles' legendary performances. This is a very different type of model set from MEGA Blocks and one I did not even know was available until it became available to me, just looking at the box art you can immediately see that this is a model recreation of the very first time The Beatles were shown live on American TV on "The Ed Sullivan Show" with a performance that truly started BeatleMania around the world and to any fan of the Beatles, an iconic moment in history which this set celebrates really well, as such this is a model set not aimed at a younger audience which most MEGA Blocks sets are known for though I can imagine a shared generational building experience with this set.The set brilliantly recreates the stage of the Ed Sullivan show where the Beatles performed, it also maintains the traditional MEGA Blocks look in all the minifigures of each Beatle which has the likeness of each member of the band but still retains that classic MEGA Blocks style. The cameras, lights and microphones are all placed exactly as they were on stage that night with the bonus feature of the lights themselves being actual lights which can be powered either by battery pack or how I chose, a powerbank.The build is straightforward with very good instructions to follow, I would say the only tricky part is the wiring for the lights themselves which can be tricky to get into the correct positions due to the material of the cable not making them as flexible as they need to be but in no way is a stopping point or blockage to completing this model. The price is high for this which is why it is aimed at the fanbase of the Beatles and it is very much a unique and different way to show that fandom and appreciated as a fan that this would be an amazing gift or just a display piece in the home. Very well made, fun to build and looks great when complete, I hope to see more from MEGA Blocks in this style going forward.

This set is of a very high quality and is definitely on a par with any other named brand for detail and sturdiness. The build itself represents the Beetles debut on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964 which really launched their amazing careers.I found this to be a fun build and without too much difficulty. Each piece fits perfectly together and once built form a diorama of the great 1964 debut show.On opening, this set contains many parts to be assembled and can even be matched with other Mega products or even other named brands to add to or diversify the build. For me though I like this kit just as it is which forms a momentous collectable for any Beetles or 1960s music fans.Along with the main stage sections and constructions comes figures of the four band members which do have a very good likeness. Each of the members can be posed and can hold an array of instruments to make the diorama your own.Another brilliant aspect of this kit is the lighting which after assembly can be remotely triggered for some great effects.At the price with the quality and for what it represents this kit is pretty good value and will no doubt be a future collectable. I have thoroughly enjoyed building this set and still now from time to time alter the components around, my wife thinks that I'm regressing back to my childhood, lol.Recommended.
