Salon Hair Dryer

This is a great blow dryer that performs. I only have it on the medium heat setting. I'm not sure how anybody could use it on the hot setting. There is a little bit of ramp-up time for the heat, but it takes seconds. The brush is a nice added Bonus, but I'm more in it for the diffuser. I do have long 3A curls, and this diffuser works very well, but I think the bowl can be deeper. The teeth length is perfect for my hair. I do wish that the cord were longer. Definitely a great deal for a really great blow dryer!

I bought this hair dryer for the first time many years ago. Years of great use. I was so relieved to find Conair still makes this model. Great air flow, nice weight, multiple heat settings. Hope Conair keeps this model in production.

Hair dryers like every other product you use is a personal preference. So you decide what you want out of a hair dryer, and hopefully this review will help decide if this one is or isn’t for you. I’ve used Infinity Pro hairdryers for over 10 years. Each one lasted about 4-5 years….this is my 3rd. I recently made a big mistake and bought a different brand and am totally regretting it now. It fried my what used to be healthy hair. I kept buying expensive products thinking my shampoo or conditioner had changed. Then I realized that I had changed hairdryers a while back. It was gradual which is why it never occurred to me that it was the hairdryer. Anyway, my hair was always smooth, shiny, and soft with my previous hairdryers, and since I bought this one, it’s smooth again, but I fear it won’t be soft again until after a few trips to my hairdresser. What I love about this one is that it doesn’t put out really high heat, but it does put out a powerful amount of air. It’s like a wind tunnel. If you think about it, most hairdressers don’t use high heat when they dry your hair, and it’s always shiny and bouncy when you leave. That’s how this made my hair feel. I’ve read some reviews complaining about how loud it is. As long as you don’t have a sleeping baby, I don’t see the issue. Most hairdryers are kinda loud. I also read a few about how it tangles their hair. I use the concentrator and I don’t have that issue. But I can see how it could if I didn’t use it. Another said that the attachments are difficult to put on. Well, that’s kinda true. It took me a minute to get the concentrator on, but fortunately, I’ll never need to take it off. Some have also stated that it’s heavy. Again, that’s all a matter of what you’re used to. I’m 60+ and blow dry my hair almost every day, and it doesn’t feel heavy to me, but it is heavier than the other one that fried my hair. The placement of the switches seem to be an issue for some. I must hold it differently because I’ve never changed the settings by accident, but I can see how someone could. Overall, for me this is a great hairdryer…it dries my hair fast and smooths it out nicely. And the dumb part of this…. My previous Infinity hairdryers had John Frieda’s name on them, now it has Conair on it. For some dumb reason I thought they were different and mine was discontinued. Had I actually thought about it, I would have never fried my hair with the other hair dryer. Oh, and as for the styling brush, again, it’s a preference thing. I used it but go back to the same ones I’ve used forever. I didn’t buy it for the brush.

Conair is my favorite brand for blow dryers! It's very powerful and it doesn't take long for my hair to fully dry. It's lightweight and easy to use. The shape of the handle makes it comfortable to hold. I like that there are a few different heat and speed settings too. It's perfect for whatever you need! Hot, warm, cool, or cold. And I love the color! Its a great price for such a good dryer! The only thing that some might not like is how loud it is. I don't think its very noisy, but there may be other blow dryers that are quieter. It personally doesn't bother me at all. As long as it dries my hair quickly and easily, the noise is no issue. I know Conair blow dryers have a long lifespan as well. I bought this only a few months ago, but I've had 0 issues with it, and I know it will last years from having one in the past. As long as you don't mind a "loud" blow dryer, I would definitely recommend this!

The lowest speed setting is closer to medium/high, and even with the diffuser it’s too much wind to keep my curls from getting blown around and stretched out. My hair is thick and heavy especially when wet, and it’s very porous so I use an obscene amount of product. For it to get blown around this much on low with the diffuser on is pretty crazy. My old hair dryer finally bit the dust after a good 15 yrs and it wasn’t a high end expensive brand (Revlon, I think?) but it was quieter and lighter weight than this one and the settings were better. I’ve only used it twice so I’ll see if it gets better as I get more familiar with it, and will update my review. Edit 1/18/26 I just blow dried my hair straight for the first time with this blow dryer, and I’m updating my 3 stars to 4. It went so much faster than my old dryer and my naturally curly hair is so smooth compared to the puffy frizz I’m used to with the old dryer. It was still heavier and louder so still not a 5 star product for me.

Great power and options for hot and cold air. Not heavy and great for my thick long hair. Definitely recommend!

The dryer works as expected. It seems very durable. High air flow. Quality for the money. I attempted to use a quieter and more expensive design but decided that high pitch and slightly less noise was not better than durable with fast hair drying. The price of this unit was much less and I feel like it will sustain the occasional drop much better. (we know what to expect from Conair Infiniti Pro) This is a replacement for a very old version of the same dryer. The old one has the plastic that holds the filter one, degrade and break. After many years, the plastic had become brittle and the track that held the filter in place degraded, probably from age and heat. We got our money out of the the old and decided it was a good choice this time around as well.

This is the best hair dryer and drys super fast. I have really thick, long hair and it takes less than 5 minutes to dry all of my hair. I've tried so many expensive dryers, but this one is the absolute best for speed and price!

This hair dryer is amazing! CONAIR always sells good products so i wasn’t surprised. The hair dryer has many good settings and comes with attachments and a brush, which i love! I have thick long hair and this hair dryer does the job!!

El producto en sí, si es muy bueno, es buena secadora, pero tuve problemas al pedir este producto. Le subieron el precio y eso hizo que se quedara trabada mi aplicación y tardaran en darme la devolución para volver a comprar. Además el empaque llegó en mal estado y sin bolsas protectoras de Amazon, lo iré probando con el tiempo y espero no tener inconvenientes. Fuera de eso Conair Infinity Pro es buena secadora, de buena calidad y con buen sistema de seguridad que evita electrocutaciones.
