APC UPS that batteries were installed in indicated that they were discharged out of the box. Did take a charge.

I've ordered this batteries to refresh my 6 years old APC-UPS SMT750 which was beeping constantly because of completely degraded batteries. I received this batteries fully charged and without any leakage or other damages. Considering the fact that they were shipped for at lease 24 hrs, their 12.85V respectively 12.84V must have been a real charge and not some "let's charge them short before shipping". Because of SOC and assuming there were not charged additionally before shipping this cells must be pretty new. I did not test capacity, but there seem to be some issues: according to APC website my UPS model with genuine batteries should have a run time of 1hr4min @ 80watt load. But with this new batteries and after installation & calibration the unit shows only 2760 seconds (46min). This is only ~72% of what it should be, even less considering claimed 7.2Ah of this batteries compared to 7Ah of APC batteries! This makes me assume that the claimed 7.2Ah of this batteries are not accurate or something else is wrong. I also know that APC's claim of over an hour runtime is more like lab/advertising data and probably not real-life data. To be fair I gave 5 stars since you need to go through full capacity test for each battery to know the real capacity. I wasn't able to do this, but honestly for $/Wh price this batteries are still a good deal if they last at least 50% of genuine lifetime (in my case 6 years). Only time will tell. UPDATE: Estimated battery time in my UPS is showing 57 min. now. This is more acceptable than previous 46 minutes. I think the changing run time of my unit is an internal UPS thing and does not have anything to do with real capacity of the batteries. For now I'm very happy with this purchase. Longevity is still to find out.
