It took me ages to get rid of them and although they are harmless they can walk far and get into any other cereal type products. Apparently they lay eggs in seeds. The answer is to freeze All bird seed before storing it. So I will order it again If possible as reasonably priced, bag it so it's in smaller parts to freeze for a day! **Q: The price quoted is "price: £15.49 (£0.77 / kg) & free delivery in the uk on orders over £20." so - 2 bags = £30.98. why the delivery charge?.** A: Should not be, ask the supplier **Q: I tried to order a bag of this and a bag of seeds - (order > £20) but the system kept adding c £5 in postage. Free delivery?** A: Is free delivery only for orders greater that £20? **Q: Do the drop seed Germernate ?** A: Been using this product for around 5 years, yes it totally will germinate, not all of it and not every seed type and of course it depends on how you feed and what the birds fancy. They like the feed as there is a good mix in it so not just for my small birds but the pigeons too. 4 Stars for the feed minus one for the broken plastic pot!
