Optimum Unisex Junior Tribal Protective Top

We were looking for a protective shoulder pad shirt and this was the first one with the right size for my son. He's very happy to have one with such a cool design that fits perfectly. I believe he can have less shoulder injuries with the use of this shirt

A fantastic top. Fits my son really well and has helped him feel more confident playing rugby. Really easy to clean with the removable padding.

I got the Large boys for my son who is 8, but one of the taller lads in his team. It fits well around the shoulders and chest, with a bit of room to grow, but is quite short in the body. We decided to keep it as it's more important that the armoured part of the top, around the shoulders and chest fits, and it is worn under his kit, so nobody will see if it's a bit short. It's a good quality top, but he does get hot in it during a match, which he never did wearing regular skins under his shirt.

After much agonising and one cancelled order at the eleventh hour, reading reviews, I finally got the Boys Large for my 9 year old daughter who plays U10s. Her measurements were 28” so was a bit confused, the sizes definitely seem to come up smaller than they say. They have started rucks, mauls and scrums so decided she could do with one. It is not skin tight but certainly not too big and in the coming winter with skins and layers it will be perfect and should last a couple of seasons. First tournament tomorrow so arrived just in time. Very impressed that it was ordered at 9pm and was here by 5.30 the next day. Very happy little girl now all ready to “go tackle some boys”

Sizing all wrong ended having to get my son a much bigger size as the first two he could not even get in Great top and good quality just go up a size or two otherwise I think I got him medium men’s and his 14 and not a massive lad either

Used several times now and this product has tested well on some tough rugby matches. My child likes the design and he doesn't object to wearing it like some of his other gear. Great value for money in my opinion.

Picked this up for my u9 child and she loves it, gives that extra confidence boost when starting contact and that extra protection! well worth it!

The top is excellent quality, good padding as described, the sizing guidelines could be better, the small boys stated a 81 cm chest, our son is 11 and a 71cm chest, i thought this would be ideal with little growing room, reality more like a 65 cm chest suitable for 8 to 9 year olds. i will be ordering again this time a larger size.

mon fils joue en U10 , il est assez grand pour son âge , et très bon plaqueur. Cette protection est parfaitement ajustée, avec de bons renforts et protège très bien. je vous la conseille.

Lasted a full rugby season. A little tight, so definitely only 1-season's use for us.

Excellente qualité. Va très bien à un garçon de 7/8 ans (et çà fera les 9 ans aussi car il n'est pas ds les plus costauds.

Belle qualité mais taille trop petit g pourtant pris la Taille au dessus pour être sûre de mon coup et qu’il puisse le mettre plus longtemps ...bon s’il le met jusqu’à la fin de la saison ce sera déjà bien .... Dommage car il est beau et la qualité est sympa
