Excellent build quality
I purchased this & another low profile arm prizmora I believe. The other arm had cable mgmt clips but I liked the look & feel of the cmteck better even though you need to use velcro straps (included) to hold the cables. Built like a tank & has great range of motion. If it included some stick on cable clips you could put them on the back side & hide your cables better but it's not that important to me. Very nice arm!

Needs a couple mods to be stable
I've been wanting a low profile mic arm for a while now. They take up less space and don't block view of my monitors like overhead boom arms do. This one went on sale a few days back for quite a bit less than it's similar competitors so I picked one up. Upon receiving it, the box seals were cut open. I ordered a new one so that was a concern straight away. Everything seemed be in order and no missing parts so don't know what happened but not super happy about that. I am not knocking off a star for the open box. The reason I am only giving this 3 stars are for two design flaws which I have highlighted in a couple of the pics uploaded for this review. Like another reviewer stated, the ball joint right at the point where you connect your mic is held by a plastic clamp. The ball in that plastic clamp is very smooth and the force of the clap all the way tightened is not strong enough to firmly hold the weight of my mic in place. I have a Maono PD100 which only weighs about 1lb. I have max tighten that ball joint down to keep it from sagging but it's not quite enough. I put some textured medical tape around the ball which seems to have done the trick. The second mod that I needed to do with mine was disassemble the first section of arm right where it goes into the desk mounting system. There are 4 little philips head screws that hold the metal outer shell to the core which is a plastic insert at the first 90 degree swivel there. Mine was loose and sagging down on its own weight. I took that first corner apart and lined the inside with a layer of electrical tape the fill the space in-between the plastic core and metal outer shell. It's not perfect but it helped a lot. After maybe an hour of mods and setup it very functional. But the fact that it needed help holding a very light microphone and it sagging under its own weight tells me that, well, you get what you pay for.. A little quality control and this is a much better mic arm right out of the box. As is, on sale, and if you don't mind tinkering with it's drawbacks, you can save a few bucks going with this one.

Exceptional Mic stand
Sturdy, low profile, and flexible in terms of deployment options. The clamp is strong and for my Focusrite USB mic the ball mount works beautifully.
