This was a fantastic STEM project for my nephews! The radio was just challenging enough to keep them engaged without being frustrating. The instructions could have been a little clearer, but that actually encouraged them to slow down, think critically, and figure things out independently, which made the experience even more rewarding. The quality of the materials is excellent, and once assembled, the radio worked surprisingly well. The sound quality was amazing, and seeing their faces light up when they heard it working for the first time was priceless. They were so proud of what they had built themselves. This kit is durable, fun, educational, and kept my wonderful nephews entertained while learning valuable problem-solving skills. These projects are the greatest for kids to make their own working products. well made and good instructions for young creators, and a reasonable price.

Great project! Works! Sounds good and the child felt a sense of accomplishment. However, the most important tool you will need was lacking and I happened to have one; a very very small Philip's head screwdriver. Be sure to have one available or it will be frustrating to try and put together. This kept my grandson busy for a good hour or more, putting it all together. He loves it and is proud of it. It is very tiny!

This is appropriate for all ages and it’s very good. It requires zero soldering. You just plug in the parts (board, speaker) via wires, assemble the body, screw them in, and it’s good to go. It’s nice and compact and really clear, and it’s fun and easy to assemble. It also has a long telescopic antenna but it doesn’t have a digital display. 👍👍✅

First thing it’s educational and all the instructions are easy for a 10 year old that doesn’t like science a lot appearance is good but you need a screwdriver because bro had to screw it with his hands and never told anyone about it but low key he didn’t struggle the quality is great it looks like a normal radio and sounds like a great radio

Fun build, opened the world of radio to the kids. They love it after building.

My grandson loved putting this project together and it truly is wonderful on that aspect regarding quality of material and simplicity. The volume and tuning buttons however did NOT function at all. We got static and were so excited....only to be disappointed. I think I'm just going to get him an old fashion erector set since the construction of this cute little project did offer so much joy.
