D-Line 30x15mm Trunking Multipack

Needed a neat and tidy solution to hide a long extension lead across the bedroom for the tv. This was perfect the product came well packaged well presented and well protected. The actual cable strips themselves have a scratch protective tape on that needs peeling off once installed . The cable strips couldn’t have been easier to install ,pop them open insert cable , line them up to where you want them ,remove the protective tape on the pre installed sticky back liner , press down for 10 secs and your done , finish by locking in the cable fully pushing the front in. They looks great above my skirting board , very neat and tidy and take away a trailing cable on the floor . They come with lots of fittings so you can install round corners making it all look seamless . I didn’t need to use any of these and my install was a straight line but should I have done I’m sur I would have had no problem . Great product at a great price highly recommended

A very comprehensive kit it came with more than i needed,the adhesive backing is one of the best ive used, having said that warm it up with your hands 1st. Before you fit it i would open it up and flex the hinge joint back as far as it will go as it's a little stiff and you could end up damaging the contact with the adhesive backing,a final note make sure you look at how the opening looks before using it so you don't end up waisting your time trying to close the gap that's already seated as I did on the 1st section lol, also when using the straight connection leave room between the 2 pieces for the ridge, also note unlike all the other connections this one slots inside the trunking.. I hope my trials and tribulations will help others lol

I purchased these for the wires in my hallway. They are very easy to put up, adhesion is very good and they can be painted with emulsion paint, although be prepared to put 4 coats on (depending on paint quality). I used Wilkinsons own paint, so I may have needed less coats with a better quality paint. On the downside these are very bulky and a little bit of an eyesore in comparison to the flat ones, which I also have. However they are not as bad as looking at wires, and they look less bulky once painted. I also wish that they would come in a longer length than 1 metre. Most internal walls with wires on are more than a metre long. The selection of joins that come with them are good and again easy to use. I wasn't able to use the flat join because it wouldn't stay in. This happened on two separate orders of these, so it wasn't my handiwork. Overall I would purchase again but I wouldn't use them in a small space.

I'm amazed I actually got the correct size, for me that's a bonus. Decent Quality, Inexpensive, fairly easy to use, another bonus the pack of angle pieces.

Good for hiding wires

The trunking itself, ignoring the glue, is well made, discreet, and big enough for quite a few cables. The corner pieces give you a good finish. I like it. However, the self-adhesive isn't great. It will probably hold up the trunking if you have a short vertical run and the wires are supported at the top; or if you have a horizontal run and can rest the trunking on the top of a skirting board or similar support; or if you have a short horizontal run and the wires are well-supported at both ends. If you're relying on the trunking to hold the weight of heavy wires, especially if the wire comes out the trunking and the dangling end has to be supported by the trunking, then the self-adhesive will fail. In that case, you either need to support the wire, or screw the trunking to the wall. If you really have to use self-adhesive to support a weight, then scrape the supplied self-adhesive foam off (an awkward job, but can be done with a long sharp knife and some patience) and use a very strong double-sided tape (E.g. Amazon ASIN B00EDLPG7Y ) to attach it to the wall.

Bought this kit for cable management of TV audio cables as wanted a quick fix. (Rather than chasing out the wall to recess cables i trunking). Easy to cut with hacksaw or stanley knife. Good selection of cornner covers. Looks decent and achieves a nice finish. Only thing to consider is that it would probably only accommodate 3 thick power cables. If you have mainly thinner audio or USB, type C cables you'll fix a lot more. Would purchase again.

Ne ho usate tante di canaline negli anni, sono tutte più o meno buone ed utili. Non costano poco queste della D-Line ma oltre alla qualità evidente sono anche belle nel design, sufficientemente poco vistoso, sono facili da installare ed è ultra comodo il Kit multipack che comprende 4 stecche da 1 metro ed anche le varie curve, pieghe ecc. e se queste non dovessero bastare si può acquistare un ulteriore kit degli accessori a scatto a parte. Una delle differenze maggiori rispetto alle classiche canaline è che queste sono incernierate da un lato, pertanto si aprono solo da una parte, in utilizzo sono comode uguali, forse di più poiché non dovremo tenere tutto il cavo dentro mentre la chiudiamo, basterà che lo infiliamo poco per volta. L'adesivo è davvero potente.. fate bene le prove prima di staccare la protezione, perché si attacca davvero all'istante. Io ho fatto passare un cavo TV da una parete a quella opposta, muro liscio ed angoli retti, il lavoro è stato davvero semplice, si tagliano a necessità con un semplice seghetto.. e stanno su che è una bellezza! Gli accessori a scatto congiungono e nascondono tutti i passaggi e hanno l'aletta per l'incastro solo da una parte.. magari può sembrare che non si attacchino benissimo, ma lo fanno, e in questo modo sono estremamente più facili da togliere e mettere se dovremo poi aggiungere altri cavi. Volendo si possono anche verniciare in pendant con il colore della parete o superficie, per renderle ancora meno visibili. Magari era meglio se prendevo quello Micro da 20x10mm, ma non ero sicuro quanto fosse lo spazio davvero utile, adesso so che sarebbe bastata la più piccola. In questa da 1,5cm di altezza lo spazio utile interno al centro è di 1,1/1,2cm. Molto soddisfatto del prodotto, consiglio assolutamente, costano di più ma rendono bene a 360°!
