Maple Drops Hard Candies 1 lb Made with Real Syrup

I happen to taste a "piece" of these candies while on a trip and am now hooked. Purchase was easy and delivery may take more that "overnight" but are worth the wait. No problems with the vendor, they offer a good quality product with natural sweetness,.

Absolutely delicious candy. My favorite of all.

I love these. They are expensive so I don’t buy them that often but they are by far my favorite candy. I have to hide them from my kids because it’s my fancy candy. If you love the taste of pure maple syrup and miss the days when there were actual decent hard candies, these are worth the buy. It time for me to order more.

These candies deliver a good amount of maple flavor. Some reviewers have complained that there's not enough maple taste, but these hard candies are not maple sugar candies -- which are significantly more expensive. The candies have a good "mouth feel" that is similar to a cough drop in the sense of being lubricating to the throat. I would buy again. Just don't expect the intense maple flavor of an expensive maple sugar candy.

These are delicious and I keep ordering them, and will continue to order them. I have noticed with recent shipments, even though the title clearly states "Maple Drops Hard Candies 1 lb", they are arriving in smaller and smaller batches. I only started weighing them when they arrive with the shipment before this one. it was 15.5 oz, less than the advertised 1 LB, but within tolerance levels, I suppose. Today's shipment arrived and it was 14.9 oz. I don't know if it's deliberate or just sloppy but that's down 7% from the advertised size. Is it shrinkflation? is it a broken machine?Are Canadian 1 LBs smaller than USA 1LBs? Anyway, I did the same thing with the stars. I gave them 5 stars in my head because they are delicious, but i gave them 4 stars on this review because of star-shrinkflation.

Individually wrapped is a plus. Amazing taste and a great price. Flavor is comparable brands I have bought that cost so much more. Will be a repeat customer!

What to give to a friend who has everything and a sore throat? I have a friend who has a constant tickle in the throat, which often turns into a sore throat. Nothing has worked, and she needed something to soothe the throat. I had seen these Maple Drops Hard Candies at the Vermong General Store, and had tried a few. Warning, once you try one, you want more. These candies have a delightful maple syrup taste, not sharp, but mild and very soothing. On a lark I looked to see if Amazon had anything like these candies, and indeed, Amazon has the same. These come in a one pound amount in a plastic bag. They are made of Maple syrup, 35%, glucose and sucrose. The candies are shaped in the form of a maple leaf. I emptied the bag into a nice canister, and I gave these to my friend. We each had one, two and then three, and I said no more. A lovely treat for someone. Recommended. prisrob 04-20-16

Absolutely delicious!! I was given a few of these when a friend visited Canada. I just had to have some!! Really pleased when I found them, pricey but with a percentage off I couldn’t resist. I’m getting through them like melting snow in August….. Went to purchase a second time, unfortunately no percentage off and they’ve increased the price!!! No matter how much I like them, I won’t be paying over 40 quid for 1lb of sweets!! Disappointing they’ve hiked the price
