My daughter (who is a qualified nutritionist) has been recommending this to me because of my age. She actually takes it herself and she said that she really notices a difference. So, I did a bit of internet research, as I do before taking any supplement, and I found that apparently Affron has been tested in several clinical trials with promising results regarding menopause symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, low mood and sleep problems, which at my age (63) I still have. So with my daughter’s recommendation ringing in my ears I ordered this. It comes in a lovely green frosted glass bottle with a metal lid so is completely recyclable which I like. It also has a plastic seal. I was a bit disappointed with a bottle of that size containing only the 30 capsules. I would have liked to see a slightly smaller bottle but it wouldn’t be a deal breaker. The capsules themselves are a nice size and easy to swallow. They don’t taste of anything and I like the fact that they are vegan too. They don’t repeat on you either. The listing description states that each capsule provides 30 mg of Affron and it is standardised to 3.5% Lepticrosalides, which indicates to me that the manufacturer is using the same standardisation and amount as the studies I found on the internet. This was very reassuring. I must say that although it has only been 11 days since I started taking them, I have actually noticed a difference. It is rare for me to take a supplement and actually see a difference, especially so soon, so I was pleasantly surprised. I haven’t had any night sweats lately, or hot flushes either. This could of course be a complete coincidence, but I found it rather encouraging. I will keep taking them and get back in 30 days with an update to this review as it is hard to be sure of my results without more time.

There is a very long shelf life for the item I received. Not free from binders and/or fillers. No adverse side effects experienced from taking this supplement. Makes it quite pricey compared to a similar product I recently used.

Great product, it helped me with perimenopausal symptoms. It gives me a bit more energy and has helped improve my sleep.

Organically produced is misleading, there is nothing that indicates that this had anything organic in it. Not great. There needs to be more regulations on these items
