This is a great inexpensive bookcase!! EASY to put together!! and the shelves are a little bit adjustable.... I would have preferred one more notch for really tall books, but that's okay, I haven't found an actual 'book'case that does yet!! my 'regular' tall books do fit, that's why I didn't subtract any stars. BTW.... The cardboard backing found on other brands, is usually very cheap and easy to mess up when attaching NOT THIS one!! The backing is reinforced and paneled to make it stronger, and the case frame is slotted to slide the back in for a much more sturdy and finished unit!!

Great shelves. I absolutely love them and I’m very pleased even though I was a little bit nervous based on some of the reviews I specifically purchased these shelves to fit on a ledge with a soffit that is located at the ceiling. They fit perfect and they look expensive they were very easy to put together. The kit was complete, and there was no damage whatsoever. I will provide one hint that when you screw in some of the provided hardware, you may see a little bit of chipping, but it’s very minimal and it’s only around the pre-drilled hole so you don’t even see it. The nice thing about these is they provide you with a black sticker to put over the holes and although it may sound cheap, at least with the black, you can’t even see it but the nice thing is you don’t see the silver screw head. Also, the instruction booklet is very easy to read and follow directions and it’s fully illustrated with words as well. I highly recommend them. I am using these shelves simply to display my books. If you plan on using them to store items that you’re gonna be touching and picking up and placing all the time or to store very heavy items I would recommend not getting them. I hope that helps.

This is ok, but I'm 76 and couldn't put it together, so my daughter's boyfriend did it. Material is flimsy, but they sent so much hardware I didn't know what went where!!! There were no instructions, just photos! The color is nice so I'm keeping it, but not getting anymore like this. But the price was good.

Really loved the quality and it was so easy to assemble it. Worth the money!

Excellent product. Much better than other pre-fab bookshelves I've purchased in the past such as Sauder. Sturdy pressboard, thick laminate that didn't chip while assembling, extra hardware for all assembly, clear well designed instructions, bracing brackets for the back so you don't have a wobbly set of shelves while you move it or after it's been in service for a while, glide footers included for easy moving, slide-in backing instead of nail on. Everything well designed. It was good enough to prompt me to write a review for an inexpensive bookshelf. Not sure what else to say :)

I got this for the rest of my book collection in my room. Long story short, it's still not fully assembled. Everything was going great until I tried putting the top half on the bottom half. One side slide in beautifully, the other I could not get on, and I tried for several hours. Turns out that the holes for the pegs do not line up with the other holes. Now I can't put it together, and I don't know what to do with a partially, but will never be fully, assembled book case. Update: Since I could not finish assembling it, I dismantled what I did put together, and like it shows in the picture, I threw it in the garbage. I really wish I could get my money back.

I bought one, assembled it, liked it and bought another one two days later. Assembly was a minor pain but not too bad. The book shelf looks nice and is plenty sturdy enough to hold my books and other things. My home office is much more organized now. Before i just had stuff stacked everywhere. Both purchases came with extra assembly parts so misplacing a screw or two was not a problem. I should have bought these 10 years ago. It took me about an hour to sssemble each one but I am sure some people could do it faster. Someone asked the question, would this item be easy to disassemble and move? Disassembly would be a minor pain unless you remembered how you assembled it or kept the instructions. I do not see why it would be necessary to disassemble it to move it. It is not that large and i would guess it weighs about 40 pounds. Two people could easily move it and in most cases one person could move it. The only reason i can think of to disassemble it before moving it would be if you really needed to minimize the size of the things you were moving in order to fit them in the car or truck you were using for the move.

It's just a basic bookcase. PRO: Fairly easy to assemble. The two-way screwdriver that was included is a really nice tool to have for other things. Once it is assembled it seems sturdy. After putting books into it you can't see the back panel. Adjustable shelves are good for accommodating larger books. Extra hardware is included, which is nice to have. CON: It's made of cheap materials. The back is like cardboard, but as noted above you can't see it once you fill it with books. It seems wobbly before you add the small brackets in the back that secure the back panel. It is a bit smaller than expected. TIP: before putting the top section onto the botton section, use some masking tape to hold the back panel onto othe frame. Otherwise, when you turn it upside down the panel falls out. The tape holds it in place. I am not disappointed but I think it might be priced a little high for the quality of materials.

Adorei. Super mimosa. Fácil de montar. Veio peças extras e um manual extremamente anti burros. Pedirei mais outras duas. Só é bem estreita então é boa para colocar brinquedinhos leves , livrinhos e lápis de cor. Bom custo benefício. Não espero que ela dure por anos mas durará até minha filha sair da primeira infância.

Great quality

This was purchased back in 2022 and I seriously have never hated a bookcase more. It’s unstable. And for 200$? Absolutely ridiculous. I just purchased a 5 tier shelf from Walmart for 50$ and the difference of quality is unreal. This is a scam.

O móvel é muito bom, a madeira é de qualidade. Eu estava meio receosa porque as avaliações que vi eram todas de fora do Brasil, mas pedi pela entrega rápida e deu tudo certo: chegou bem embalado, com qualidade e completo. Consegui montar sozinha (só com uma ajudinha da minha mãe), sem precisar pagar ninguém, e foi bem tranquilo porque o manual é claro e fácil de entender. As ferramentas básicas para a montagem, como chave Phillips e a outra chavinha, já vêm no kit, então não precisei me preocupar com isso. O produto também inclui parafusos e algumas peças extras, o que é ótimo. Ele ainda tem suporte para fixação na parede, mas essa parte exige uma parafusadeira, que eu não usei — no meu caso, não foi necessário fixar. No geral, achei muito prático de montar, bem pensado e resistente. Está sustentando todos os meus livros tranquilamente e ficou ótimo.
