Amazing price for this camera. So easy to set up with the Tapo app. Works perfectly from the starts. Sound/video quality in excellent. I purchased this to keep an eye on my elderly furkid while i’m out. Amazing - got a few cameras to replace my old clever dog ones. They took less than 10 mins to set up (my pal had already attached the brackets to the ceiling for me!) - it was really straight forward to invert the view, turn notifications off and get all settings sorted. Most importantly for me it was really easy to turn off the microphone and disable sound recording as we don’t want any noise or sound being recorded as that feels a bit too intrusive. Really pleased with these devices - really good quality picture and on sale for less than £20 each. Would definitely recommend

Excellent value cameras! I have 2 of them , one used as baby monitor and the other as security camera for outbuilding. I think if you get them in the region of £20 is an amazing product for the money. Has night vision and movement detection so it is useful for many applications. There is no need for subscription and it does a decent job! Really recommend 👌

I set up the Tapo C211 inside my living room window to monitor the front area, and for an indoor camera being used through glass, it performs surprisingly well. The 2K resolution gives a clear view outside, and the pan/tilt function makes it easy to adjust the angle without physically touching the camera. Image Quality Through Glass During the day, the picture is sharp and detailed. Even through the window, the 3MP sensor captures faces, vehicles, and general movement clearly. The camera handles reflections reasonably well, though venetian blinds can cause a slight reflection at certain angles, especially if there’s light behind the camera. Tilting the blinds or adjusting the camera angle helps minimise this. At night, like all cameras behind glass, infrared reflection becomes an issue — but the C211 lets you disable IR and rely on external lighting, which keeps the image usable after dark. Pan & Tilt Performance The motorised pan/tilt is smooth and quiet. From inside the house, I can sweep the entire front area without needing to reposition the camera. This is a big advantage over fixed indoor cameras when used behind a window. Motion Detection Motion detection works well for outdoor movement even through glass, especially when using: Person detection Activity zones Reduced sensitivity to avoid picking up passing cars Notifications arrive quickly and reliably. App & Setup Setup was quick and straightforward. The Tapo app makes it easy to control the pan/tilt, review recordings, and tweak detection settings. If you already use Tapo devices, it integrates seamlessly. 🔊 Audio As expected, two‑way audio doesn’t work through a closed window — but that’s normal for any indoor camera used this way. For pure visual monitoring, it’s not an issue. The 2K clarity, smooth pan/tilt, and reliable motion alerts make it a great indoor camera that can double as an outdoor monitor when placed behind glass. Just be mindful of reflections from blinds and disable IR at night for the best results.

I use this to monitor my puppies when I am out of the house and I Love this. Great camera. It can fit anywhere I need it to. Easy to monitor when I am out via the app. Connects to my phone so easy. I haven’t tried with out it being plugged in so unsure what the battery life is like with out that. Only issue I have is it and can be a bit slow when trying to move the camera into position but eventually catches up and it’s not all the time this happens

Amazing for the money. I can do chores and see the baby and i am so much less stressed!!! Plus 2 way audio and i can zoom in move it around etc... was recommended by my sister who is also a mum ans uses it. Does as much as any kids moniter and more. Field of view is awesome. Also took less than 5 mins to set up, literally download tapo app, type in which cam (on box) and then connect to wifi. Can namw multiple cameras too!

Really impressed with this, set up was easy, use it in the kitchen to keep and eye on things. Our elderly jack russell sleeps in there and we can keep an eye on her day or night if we are out or in bed. Will be buying another one sometime soon for another room in the house. Can’t comment about outdoor/nightime use.

Videocamera di discreta qualità, purtroppo (a quanto pare è capitato a più di qualcuno) talvolta arriva con spina non EU come nel mio caso, rendendola inutilizzabile se sprovvisti in casa di un adattatore.
