Only curious because it will take a long time to go through 2000 packets.** A: I go through about 3000 packets a year as we use them for tea coffee and sometimes to sweeten not quite sweet enough fruit. I buy 4000 packets at time as I'm not concerned about the deterioration of the contents as they are in a wrapper that is impervious to moisture. I guess I've used product over 2 years old as we have a vacation home where we take many gross at a time. I'm sure some of those packets are several years old. Does not lose sweetness over time or heat as does aspartame. I'm not a scientist but I do research on consumable products.
