These are great jars. I have them different sizes and use for sauerkraut or sourdough. Be aware that the lid can absorb the smell so you might not want to use the sauerkraut jar for anything other than sauerkraut if you know what I mean!

Work well, though I find the lids too big for my hands to easily open the jars, even when I’ve pulled the valve.
