Just does what it does and needs no help from its owner
I use this to maintain a complete back up of my hard drive (mac). It does this quite invisibly. Very good vfm

Needs US plug adapter.
Reasonably fast delivery, seeing as it has to go through customs before it can be tracked. It comes with a US style 100-240V integrated power adapter/plug.. so you need a US (to whatever) adapter, NOT supplied. Penny pinching from Amazon when you consider a plug is going to set you back only c.1Eu but; but if you dont have one available its a pain.

Its a 6GB Drive on the RHS of the road...
Seems like a good value drive, Has USB 3 support...Dissapointed that it comes with a US style PSU "plug" without any adapters for other countries... it is common place now a days to supply a power unit with a universal mounting system and several adapters.. it would not have cost much more, and for a product this expensive is a drop in the ocean

Unusably slow.
I bought 3 and have only had the chance to use 1 so far, but it is unusably slow.My 2010 MacBook Pro only has USB 2, but nevertheless speeds are far slower than with my other hard drives.I'm moving over 6TB of date and initial transfers run at around 50MB/sec. This is about 10% of the theoretical maximum and much slower than any of my other drives. Towards the end of the process, the speed drops to around 1MB/sec, which is slower than USB 1.Don't buy this. You'll grow old and die before you can use it.

US model sold on UK site
Just bought this in the UK and as it was advertised on the UK site I was expecting a dual power supply but what I got was a US model. Of no use to me unless I bought a new power supply negating the saving I made.I would not recommend buying this as the issue with the power plus the route and delays necessary to return it if there are any issues means the savings are just not worth the hassle.Avoid.
