DOAHO 9 PCS Damaged Screw Extractor Set,Birthday Gifts for Adult Men

I originally purchased for removing stainless steel screws from teak trim on my boat and it work great. Then I broke a 7/16 bolt on my diesel engine that holds the rocker arm assembly. I thought I may have to remove the head but found this little kit I ordered and used one of the drill bits to drill a starter hole in a harden steel bolt than used the extracting bit from the kit and to my surprise it backed out. Inexpensive little tool bits that can save time and money in wood or steel.

I wanted to give it 4 stars because the drill bits are cheap and one broke immediately. I have more so no big deal. But it worked great and It removed the screws that were stuck so I’d definitely buy again

It did not work as advertised. The seller did make things right, and I will definitely purchase from this seller again.

Didn't remove the screw, just dugout a hole in the screw the extractor didn't grab the screw. Luckily I was able to grab it with vise grips and twist the screw out

I am very pleased with this kit. I needed to remove a smaller screw that had broken off in my TV’s base, and most other kits I found did not include a #0 size. That little bit was exactly what I needed. A #1 might have worked, but it also could have damaged the base, so having the correct size made all the difference. The process is just like many other extractor kits, simple and straightforward, but this one stands out because it covers those smaller, often overlooked sizes. The bits feel solid, and it is reassuring to have on hand for future projects. Pros: - Includes the hard(ish)-to-find #0 size - Solid and durable bits - Comes with both extractors and matching drill bits - Neat storage case Cons: - I wish the case had storage for the included drill bits, they don't fit nicely and interfere with the closing of the case A compact, reliable kit that solves problems other sets ignore. I highly recommend this product.

The job got done. However, the quality of the metal bits is not good. The bits heads started to lose shape against the screws.

It works. Takes patience, but it does work. I had a flat stripped out screw that had no leverage and this removed it.
