Works as advertised. Solid construction, metal cased. Low latency. Just got them, and set up was easy and they are working fine. Seems like a good value for the price as this space has many options

Expensive but it gets rid of the cables, steady and reliable connection.

The adapter needs to always be connected to the usb cable with my laptop. It’s kind of annoying because it takes away a usb port. Even when it’s fully charged it won’t won’t without the usb.

I LOVE this! I use it in my classroom everyday. My school doesn’t have ceiling mounted or Bluetooth capable projectors, so I was always tethered to my projector cart in the center of the room. With this I can project from anywhere is my room and have a document camera cart where I can move around and monitor the room as we complete activities. It also allows for me to project from a small group table without having to constantly move back and forth between my projector cart and my intervention table to interact with my computer. I have used this for about three months without any issues!

Works perfectly fine for casting from my laptop. Setup was as simple as can be; however, my goal was to extend my laptop display to my 60" TV sitting 9' away when I was playing multiple poker tables at one time. The mouse lag was immediately a noticeable problem. I could likely learn to live with it, but we're not talking graphic intense gaming. I need the mouse pointer to accurately go from laptop screen to TV and click one of 5 boxes. I'm not talking first person shooter games or critical precision. The delay across TV screen followed by instant reaction on the laptop screen bugged me enough to decide that playing multiple games on my laptop screen was better than trying to manage games across wireless HDMI. Oddly, the Transmitter's LCD display showing key features like connected and power issues faces down when plugged into the laptop. It's a non issue UNLESS you need to see if the power is blinking red. I used multiple power bricks to power both the Transmitter and the Receiver and none of the dozen attempts fixed the mouse lag.

The description did not mention that the receiver will need to be connected to a USB power all the time. Also, the transmitter needs to be charged.
