I have used this product on a few decks so far and love it! Provides great protection to top of joist and the ashes and “rubber” material adheres to the threads of the screws to provide a better seals vs the “old” way of wood on wood contact. My application on this project was for roof trusses on a pergola as the customer wanted a clear polycarbonate roof. It will provide extra protection against leaks down the road and it also helped keep the sheets from sliding down the pitch of the roof during install. The backing can be a bit frustrating to take off after being cut to length and has ripped if you get rushed when taking off. Slow pace is best. The adhesive is pretty strong and stays in place when applied. I have used other brands and it will peel off pretty easily. This one STAYS PUT! I highly recommend for its waterproofing/protection and adhesion when applied! I will definitely buy again!

Not bad product, however the edges over a rounded board dont stick very well. So you end up with the edges sticking up with the top firmly attached. It still is a nice product though.

Works great! I like the 2 in wide, especially. My local big box store sells the 1 5/8 and it’s easy to miss a side if you’re just going. I used a paint roller on a broom handle to press it down (same threads, and you avoid splinters). You can’t beat the price for the volume. I’ve purchased this twice now. Stickiness is great. And it keeps the water off no problem. Highly recommend. Don’t hesitate to purchase.

It’s deck tape — and it does exactly what it should. I’ve used plenty of brands over the years, but this one stands out for its durability and easy application. The paper-lined types tend to tear or stick to themselves, which wastes time and tape. This one peels smoothly and applies cleanly, saving a lot of frustration. It's a lot cheaper and better than the tape at Lowe's and home Depot. 2" wide vs 1-5/8". It's thicker and more rubbery. Time will tell.

Good tape have good griping with wood

Good quality of the top layer, waterproof as described. Stickiness is decent, when surface is dry and clean, so make sure you do your prep before sticking. Also where possible, try to use when temperature are on the upper end of the scale, because the tape becomes somewhat more rigid and less sticky when temperature drops below 15C. 10/10 would buy again!

Great product stick well compared to other product I paid 3-4 time the price in store...
